I mean, c'mon, the guy's about as fucking cool as they come. its pretty obvious that Rob split the band for money. when his solo dropped, the band were still together, and leading up to the release of Hellbilly Deluxe Rob insisted that his solo project was a one off, yet after it topped the charts he announced the split. He no longer needed them.

Hellbilly Deluxe 2 sounds nothing like the original either.
