  • fue coreografiada para Birgit Keil?? no estoy segura...de todos modos, dejó de coreografiar a puntas poco después. Son tendencias....todo vuelve???? veremos.

  • KMANWatson13 - Thanks for your note. It led me to watch 'Sinfonietta' which I agree was absolutely wonderful and extremely romantic and classical.

  • Kang Sue-jin and Ivan Cavallari are dancing this in Korea now - I hope they will post their performance here too!

This was extraordinarily beautiful to sink into - and yes, such trust and strength needed and displayed is exquisit, ausgezeichnet, commanding.

  • I had the privilege of seeing them live at the Titus Command Performance in Dallas several years back. There were ten HUGE international stars in this Gala. I won't name names but while the others were thrilling the audience with Don Q, Corsaire, etc., (all amazing), it was the performance of "Nuages" by Evelyn and Rex that completely stunned the audience. Their mouths just hung open at the end and they had to jolt themselves out of their trance to offer the biggest applause of the evening.

  • Hi Everyone! Although this performance was lovely (and I'm a huge fan of Manuel Legris) if you enjoyed this choreography, please search for the Evelyn Hart and Rex Harrington version (listed as Evelyn Hart & Rex Harrington)

I think that their's is an even better interpretation of this stunning work by Jiri Kylian (of course music by Debussy)

  • The choreography is absolutely astounding! It takes so much trust in your partner to pull off a dance that difficult!

  • It is so amazing to find 'Nuages' made into a ballet! It is one of my favorites by Debussy, my favorite composer!

I love Dorothee's skirt, too. She looks like a Japanese Iris. :)

  • Very much as I love Kylian, I find it difficult to believe this is his choreography as it's too balletic.

Many thanks for it - it's wonderful in every way.

  • @balletnut Though it certainly is much more balletic than his more recent works, i.e. black and white ballets, tar and feathers, 27' 52", etc, if you look at many of his earlier works such as, Sinfonietta, they have a much more classical feel.

  • Super-beautiful choreography, such wonderful lifts! They dance fantastic. Thank u very much for posting!

  • This is "Nuages", not "Claro de Luna"!

  • who is this choreographer and composer of this piece?

  • Kylian-Debussy.

  • @kabaiivansko Wow, that's amazing, I was thinking how much it reminds me of Tudor.

  • Dorothee Gilbert is destined to a bright career, and she can became a really great dancer, in few years...
