  • Santos-Dumont, though not the first to fly an airplane, was a great pioneer and true inspiration to others. Sadly, all that remains of his work in Nieully-Sur-Seine is a plaque on a wall. Your wonderful tribute video will help keep his memory alive. Wm. Longyard, USA

  • Thank you for your tribute to Alberto Santos-Dumont, a great aviator and great man. I was surprised to see the video labeled no. 8, as Alberto himself believed number 8 to be very unlucky; in fact, there was never an airship no. 8!
