I don't think we should try to cure autism. The creator of the internet and the founder of Microsoft was autistic, Bill Gates. He was a genius in everything related to technology, even if he was slightly socially impared. I think that with the way Autistic people think, they will someday save the world with their expertise.
I however do think everyone should be treated with respect, and that's why autism awareness is important
