  • I want to cry listening to this beautiful song by the best there will ever be.

  • I agree, the singers of today do not come close to this magical man - his voice is like melted chocolate!!

  • love this song

  • I'm a major fan , but it never ceases to amaze me, I really like alot of artists, but damn it, this man could sing any damn thing. and handsome beyond words and a real man, army, karate, tall, not a little skinny puke like these pussies nowadays. sorry for my choice of words, but damn, these little short girly acting singers today, can you imagine them on stage next to this man, give me a break

  • To know him is to love him. The KING is dead, long live the KING.

  • LET ME KNOW IF SOMEONE CAN TOP THIS SONG MALE OR FEMALE. I MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT FOR A LONG TIME.

  • The best has already existed and his name was ELVIS PRESLEY.

  • This song is another reason why Elvis is the ultimate king of music....

  • Elvis is the best. No comparison to anyone else. He's the gold standard.

  • This is the song of a man whose music will always be the greatest...

  • No Readingiseasy YOU lose as does anyone who tries deny that Elvis was and is The King of Rock & Roll.

Was Elvis influenced by Black artists?

    Yes.

Was he also influenced by White artists?

    Yes.

Was it Elvis who combined the elements from Rhythm & Blues, Country, and Popular music into what became Rock and Roll?

    YES.

Stop hating on Elvis for being The Greatest Entertainer of ALL time.

He never denied the influence of The Blues on his music and bitter jealousy does NO good.

    ~Maureen

  • JUST AWESOME Jackie.

I was also going to try my hand at a

video of this song, (which would be my

3rd) but I believe I'll just enjoy yours

instead. It couldn't be done any better.

My friend Pallindrom27 shared it with

    me.

  • Not only are ALL of the songs from these sessions my favorites FROM my favorite(Elvis that is) but THIS SONG in particular I have a particularly sharp empathy for. I was looking for a video version of it to favorite and your simple but elegant version told by using nothing but images of the man himself was enough to make me select yours. The lyrics that you so thoughtfully included were an added bonus and I wish that MORE video posters would be so courteous.

    Thank you for this.

    Outstanding.

  • Amazeing...TLC...

  • Written by Chris Arnold, Geoffrey Morrow, and David Martin. Elvis recorded it January 13, 1969 at American Sound Studios. It is available on Back in Memphis, From Memphis to Vegas/From Vegas to Memphis, Suspicious Minds (1999), and From Nashville to Memphis: The Essential 60s Masters.

  • This is such a very marvelous and underrated song. It's one of hundreds of not well known jewels recorded by King Elvis. Elvis sang this treasure at only one of his concerts and that concert was the Midnight Show from August 26, 1969. That's the exact same concert that Elvis sang "Rubberneckin'" for the only time live on stage. Elvis will always be #1. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
