I remember when i sing this beautiful song, tears falls in my eyes so meaningful to me with all my friends in Zamboanga City the Ensign CHorus i miss you guys..
Thank you so much for posting this video, I know that it was some time ago already, but nonetheless. Beautiful, outstanding, emotionally and spiritually moving. The clips, quotes, and artwork all ties well in hand with the segments and flow of the music. Everytime I play this video, tears are inevitable. Once again, thank you.
Thank you for putting together such a wonderful testimony of Jesus Christ. I especially liked that you paired the images with a song sung by Kenneth Cope. I also know that he lives and am grateful for all that my Redeemer has done for the souls of the world.
If only man would know that there is much more to God, his writings and his work
then mere man could ever comprehend. God is good and would never allow his children to be deceived. God's mission on earth was First to His people, the house of Israel, the Aztec are blood linage of the house of Israel. ASk James 1:5. Why would He not go first to His own. Though through Paul God reaches out to the gentile, those who are not blood Israel on accepting the gospel are adopted into the house of Israel
When you carry the Bible, Satan gets a headache. When you open it, he collapses. When he sees you reading it, he faints. When he sees you living it,he flees. And just when you're about to spread this to your mates he'll try 2 discourage you......

this song touch my heart so deeply... never a better hero like him, he gave his life for all of us, something that nobody will do. i love jesus christ my savior and my redeemer.
Don't argue with someone who has already made up there minds to keep their hearts firmly walled up. Hold strong to your testimony of your church and Christ. Thats all that matters, let Christ and Heavenly Father judge and teach those whose hearts can only be opened by them and their mighty glory.
@alielbaryeshua Back to your first post you say that there is no reference in the bible about Christ visiting the Aztecs. We agree with you, they lived in 14th to 16th centuries, well after we believe christ visited the americas. We believe that he visited their ancestors, most likely the Mayan empires. The scriptural reference we site in the bible is John 10:16 when christ speaks of other sheep. Christ had sent the apostles to preach to the gentiles so the other sheep are some other people
@howjos Well, Jesus was speaking to the Jews at that time. Jews considered gentiles detestable. Jesus was explaining that gentiles would hear the voice of salvation and would be "grafted in" to the vine. It is really astounding that someone can turn " There are other sheep who will hear my voice" into a mormon parable meaning " There will be mormons that I will establish on another continent, will constantly speak of things that are not of Gods word, but want to be accepted by the flock.
@alielbaryeshua Wow dude calm down I was just trying tell you what we believe in, you can make up stuff about our church if you want to like the rest of the world does. The true church of christ has always received persecution from the beginning of the world from people like you who hope to have no accountability for their sins. One day you will meet God and you will be ashamed you ever talked ill of the mormon church
@alielbaryeshua Okay without sidetracking the issue and sticking solely to the issue of scripture - PvtTucker does not say anywhere about any of the bible being uninspired, he simply said that it is not likely that ALL of the workings of an eternal god could be captured in ONE book. I am happy to discuss/debate this, but if you need to revert to name calling then it shows you are not confident in your own belief or ability to defend it.
@alielbaryeshua I am guessing you are referring to Rev 22:18-19. I take it that you are aware that when these were originally written there was no 'BIBLE', this was a collection of writings and letters which were compiled much later. So at the time Revelations was written it was a letter to the seven churches, not a part of a complete book, it is therefore more likely to be referring to Revelations itself.
@alielbaryeshua It actually does mention it in the bible in John 10:16. However, even if it didnt, that doesnt make it blasphemous. You do realize that Christ's actual ministry was about 3 years, but only a few months worth of events are recorded in the new testament. Just because something isnt recorded in the bible word for word doesnt mean that it isnt true. Do you really think that all of the workings of an eternal god can be recorded in one book?
@alielbaryeshua John 10:16 "There are other sheep, who are not of this fold, them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."
@alielbaryeshua The video was produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Read John 10:16 to learn of other peoples that the Savior needed to visit. By reading in the Old Testament you see that several tribes of Israel had migrated to distant lands and the Savior would visit them all. The Book of Mormon is a record of one of those Tribes - the descendents of Joseph, son of Jacob who left Jerusalem during the reign of King Zedekiah-2 Kings 25. Also read Jeremiah 35:15.
To believe that torturous human sacrifice is in anyway beneficial to one's assumed personal metaphysical welfare, seems rather immoral and certainly dismissible. To glorify the occasion is sickening! What will you people allow yourselves to do next..?
@studioROT : The Atonement of Jesus Christ is not about "torturous human sacrifice" and I do not glorify the occasion, as you say. In this instance, you know not whereof you speak. Perhaps you deserve to acquaint yourself more fully with the concepts of honor, justice, mercy, unconditional love, and grace as they relate to God, His Son Jesus Christ, and to humanity. Peace.
@rippinsteo, I do not believe in the existence of God, Jesus as a deity, or any other god. The beneficial supernatural force arising from the crucifixion as proposed by the religious is therefor meaningless to me. What remains, is the torturous human sacrifice of a man (which I accept as a probable historical event) and the continuous celebration of this event by the faithful as if it was a good thing. This occurs to me as stunningly egocentric and deeply immoral.
@studioROT We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may. if you believe that there is no God then we respect your belief and we expect the same from you. and this is my belief that I know that their is a God and He Loves us. I also believe in Jesus Christ as the savior and redeemer of the world. and in the Holy Ghost who manifest this things to my conscience.
@albert3479 If it comes to it, I would help you defend your right to believe whatever it is that you want to believe, but after that I will challenge the content of your belief. Your freedom of choice deserves unconditional respect; your outrages claims do not.
You might understand better where I'm coming from if you would apply the above concept to a religion that is rival to yours.
@studioROT Are we rivals? Or, are we brothers? Is every man woman and child not a child of our heavenly father? I can't help but feel you are refering to another religion or to those of our faith who do not believe what they are taught. A recent discussion by one of Christ's latter-day apostles makes this point clear. We are all members of the human family, we all wear the same jersey, we are all children of God and are all brothers and sisters. Rivalries and contentions do not become us.
@RestoChristian, the semantics of the word 'rival' seems to have meaning to you, solely by your particular standards. The fact that you pose the presumably rhetorical question about the assumed kinship of a heavenly father gives it away. I do not believe in the existence of a heavenly father or any other deity, but yet I am a member of the human family and it certainly does not require to gloat over this young man's sickening torture and murder in order to live a meaningful and loving life.
@studioROT I never said that being a member of the human family requires one to accept Christ as their savior. God knows and loves all men and women perfectly and I think you are missing my point. My point is that rivalries and contentions are not of God. We are all members of the human family whether we are believers or not. We all wear the same jersey, whether orthodox Christian, secular humanist, mormon Christian, jew, muslim, etc., we should all work to make this world a better place.
@studioROT if you only believe in God then we would have things to talk about but since you do not believe in God what is the point of talking about Him. For you will just deny Him. our religion is not a concept it is a revealed truth. Your belief as their is no God is a concept. you try to go to other faiths and tell them there is no God. well see if they will believe you. you see every christian churches will contend with you bec. your belief is a concept not the truth. peace to you brother.
@albert3479, I do not deny a god; I simply do not possess a believe in one. I also do not tell people that there is no god (as you imply); I simply do not believe in one.
On that basis, your celebration of Jesus' torture comes across to me as barbaric and I certainly do not consider the alleged beneficial qualities of his ordeal the truth.
However, I do appreciate that you call me brother and I wish peace on you too..!!
@studioROT: The fact that you refer to a 'beneficial supernatural force' arising from the crucifixion of Jesus Christ shows that you understand not the atonement of Jesus--of which the crucifixion was only a part of and was actually a merciful end to the atonement. I celebrate the love Jesus had for me and for each one of us to endure the atonement. I do NOT celebrate his pain and suffering in Gethsemane and on the cross. Your ignorant accusation is insulting. Peace, love and light to you.
@studioROT first he was no human like you and me and there will be things in the universe that you and me as humans will not be able to define, second me dont rejoice in his pain but in his charitable act for he being able to free himself from that sacrifice didn't.
@josue679, Your comment brings us back to square one; you believe in something undifined in nature and do not buy your claim.
To award a charitable status to the act of torture is immoral! Also, if one would go along (for argument's sake) with the notion that Jesus was not a being like you and me, would that automatically justify his murder? What else would you allow yourself to justify?
This is such a beautiful song.....I had never heard it before and your video is amazing.....tears flowing here........NEVER a BETTER HERO.....Thank you Jesus.......God bless you always and thank you for sharing!!
yeah i know i am crazy, crazy for him who loves me with all his heart, my Father in heaven who has proven his love for us, he who calls us to repent us from our dark and evil ways,
I am so grateful for the church, especially the young woman's program. I know the church is true and I am a proud LDS member and youth. I am saddened when I see the other videos with the hateful comments on out religion, however I know one day those people will see the light and they will come to know the Savior.
I read the Book of Mormon and was baptised and believed with all my heart! but then I guess went down the wrong path a few years later. and am trying to find my way back to the church.
I felt the spirit it was so powerful when I prayed years ago when i first became a member of lds. anyway please pray for me that I will truly find my way back as i want nothing more!
@eugeanie I will pray for you that you will find your way back. Your Heavenly Father loves you and will always be there for you. You can feel that spirit again.
@eugeanie Hi, you are not alone in your struggle to find your way back, remember the poem footsteps in the sand, I am also trying to find my way back, my biggest hurdle is finding transport as it is too far to walk and if I could I would. I wonder if you have asked for home teacher to call or the Relief Society sisters, \they have been my strength. I firmly believe that God has carried me through the most troubled time in my life and I know the church is true, Always believe in the Church.
I have Felt Jesus not just read it in a book or heard some one at church talk about his love i have felt his love thought the holy Spirt, And i cannot Deny it!!! if you experience this for your self you will have something everyone is looking for and few ever find, Peace that feeling of alone that you feel will leave you because you will never again be truly alone.
Do you allow people to download your videos? I used to download videos all the time but it looks as if the person who posted has to allow it now...I wanted to use this for a relief society lesson.
It all comes full circle... I'm lost, a lost soul, trying to find the light, less for me than for mine... where does one who is lost bring his family to the truth?
It all comes full circle... I'm lost, a lost soul, trying to find the light, less for me than for mine... where does one who is lost bring his family to the truth?
I know how you feel. The scriptures promise us that if we seek, we shall find. If you read the scriptures, pray, go to church, try to do those things that the church teaches us, you will not have to feel lost anymore. Go to Him, pray for your family, your testimony, etc, and He will help you. His answers to your prayers may not come when you want or how you expect them to, but you can have faith that He wants you to be in His flock and all you have to do is seek and have faith.
You'll be in my prayers. If you are LDS there's great support in the church. Talk to your Bishop or anyone in your ward you feel like you can trust and could help you with this.
Even if you're not LDS, your local LDS Bishop would be glad to talk to you, or just in general I've always found it helpful to talk to someone of my faith I can trust.
Anyway, don't mean to give advice where it's not wanted; you can take it or leave it. These are the things that have always helped me.
Christ indeed has comforted my soul since years ago when I started to believe in His saving power. I love Him for His Atonement, given to us silly weak humans ......oh how I need Him every hour.
First of all thank you for posting this wonderful video to one of my favorite songs. Second, I have a favor to ask: this summer our girls camp theme is superheros, and I am part of the committee organizing it. One of my assignments is to find a video that illuminates the spiritual purpose of camp, and I found yours to be perfect . I wonder if you might be able to somehow send me your video that i may be able to share it at girls camp.....
Lehi said to his son Lemuel "O that thou mightest be like unto this valley, firm and steadfast, and immovable in keeping the commandments of the Lord!" (1 Nephi 2:10) Joseph was firm, steadfast, immovable. In the most hostile of circumstances, he never wavered in his devotion to his principles.
But there were others who did, and Moses tells their stories just before he tells Joseph's cannot be coincidence. The fact that we are told four stories about sexual purity in six chapters suggests that Moses wanted us to learn something. So let us look first at three who were as unsteady and uncertain and unstable as water.
Maybe he just wanted them to do it so they could understand how to do it correctly. I don't know, sometimes we just have to know that God has a wise purpose for doing all things and that is all we can really know. Nephi says it himself when he talks about making the large and small plates, he said he didn't know why he should make the large plates and the small plates, but he knew that God had a wise purpose for them. Sometimes thats all we can do is accept that principle.
I know for myself that God exists. He has answered my prayers. I was feeling really sick, and I prayed to God, and IMMEDIATLEY after, I felt much better.
@IMDESTROYEROFWORLDS: I like knowing why we are here, all creations have a porpouse. I know God lives, He has answered my prayers; I know Jesus is my Redemeer, I've felt His love in my life. Good thing is that They still love a sinner, I wanna be worthy of Their Great Blessings and love.
P3WNAGE - Yes it is a wondeful video. It reveals the great love Christ has for us all. The lyrics of the song are beautiful too. Makes you want to emulate Jesus,' life, be more like him. There are many neat videos put out by the Church and LDS members.
Five stars aren't anything that can measure the endless atoning sacrifice of my Friend, my Savior. I know he lives! Blessed be my God for this gift; endless gift.
I love this song and it fits Christs mission on the earth soo well. I could feel the good spirit of this video to help remind us of all Christ did for us in his life. He is my hero ( :
whoever put this on here.....I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can't get enough of this video. This is a lifechanger! God bless everyone.........
This song was sung at a friend's funeral nearly 17 years ago. My friend was 17 when he was hit by a car and killed. This is the first time I have been able to listen to this song without feeling heartbreak. Thank you!
This is such a beautiful song and has such a good message behind it, I am glad I was able to share it with you in a way that allowed you to enjoy it again.
I am glad to hear that it was well received. It was for that type of event that I created these so I am glad it was able to be shared. Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate hearing it
This is exactly what I needed! I am going to be baptized into the church in two days Saturday and receive the holy ghost on Easter Sunday. I have been SO nervous and after crying my eyes out from this video I realize that this is more than the right choice. Love all of you future sisters and brothers!!!
I know my comment is WAY after the fact, but congratulations and WELCOME!!! So happy for you, and hope that your walk with the Lord is full of joy. Keep your eye on the Savior and the temple, and all will be well.
yes me to so very much i cannot wait it makes me cry for joy when i hear other people out there like you i love you i cant even keep in my emotions when i see coments like yours god bless you and your family

I celebrate the love Jesus had for me and for each one of us to endure the atonement. I do NOT celebrate his pain and suffering in Gethsemane and on the cross. Your ignorant accusation is insulting. Peace, love and light to you.
rippinsteo 6 months ago
@rippinsteo, If I replace the word 'celebration' with the words 'positive acknowledgment', would you find me less ignorant?
studioROT 6 months ago
@studioROT first he was no human like you and me and there will be things in the universe that you and me as humans will not be able to define, second me dont rejoice in his pain but in his charitable act for he being able to free himself from that sacrifice didn't.
josue679 5 months ago
@josue679, Your comment brings us back to square one; you believe in something undifined in nature and do not buy your claim.
To award a charitable status to the act of torture is immoral! Also, if one would go along (for argument's sake) with the notion that Jesus was not a being like you and me, would that automatically justify his murder? What else would you allow yourself to justify?

I am so grateful for the church, especially the young woman's program. I know the church is true and I am a proud LDS member and youth. I am saddened when I see the other videos with the hateful comments on out religion, however I know one day those people will see the light and they will come to know the Savior.

I read the Book of Mormon and was baptised and believed with all my heart! but then I guess went down the wrong path a few years later. and am trying to find my way back to the church.
I felt the spirit it was so powerful when I prayed years ago when i first became a member of lds. anyway please pray for me that I will truly find my way back as i want nothing more!
eugeanie 1 year ago

1nt3r3st3ng 1 year ago
@1nt3r3st3ng
I know how you feel. The scriptures promise us that if we seek, we shall find. If you read the scriptures, pray, go to church, try to do those things that the church teaches us, you will not have to feel lost anymore. Go to Him, pray for your family, your testimony, etc, and He will help you. His answers to your prayers may not come when you want or how you expect them to, but you can have faith that He wants you to be in His flock and all you have to do is seek and have faith.
misschoirgeek 1 year ago
@1nt3r3st3ng

I love Him for His Atonement, given to us silly weak humans ......oh how I need Him every hour.

howjos,
First of all thank you for posting this wonderful video to one of my favorite songs.
Please respond asap.
sincerely,
morningglory

Lehi said to his son Lemuel "O that thou mightest be like unto this valley, firm and steadfast, and immovable in keeping the commandments of the Lord!" (1 Nephi 2:10) Joseph was firm, steadfast, immovable. In the most hostile of circumstances, he never wavered in his devotion to his principles.
omiolo 1 year ago
But there were others who did, and Moses tells their stories just before he tells Joseph's cannot be coincidence. The fact that we are told four stories about sexual purity in six chapters suggests that Moses wanted us to learn something. So let us look first at three who were as unsteady and uncertain and unstable as water.

John the baptist appeared appeared to baptise joseph smith and the other guy.
Baptise each other , he said.
They did...
If HE were really john the BAPTIST, he would have BAPTISED THEM HIMSELF don't you think?
nzlook11 1 year ago
Maybe he just wanted them to do it so they could understand how to do it correctly. I don't know, sometimes we just have to know that God has a wise purpose for doing all things and that is all we can really know. Nephi says it himself when he talks about making the large and small plates, he said he didn't know why he should make the large plates and the small plates, but he knew that God had a wise purpose for them. Sometimes thats all we can do is accept that principle.
