My motherboard (MSI 848 Neo2-V) will no longer accept SATA drives. I can only use IDE drives? I have loaded optimal defaults, changed every single option in BIOS configs, tried other SATA drives, but no, it's not working. So, do I need to flash BIOS? Please someone tell !! Thanks !!

BFBC2 - games freezes after 5 seconds to another 5 seconds

Saints Row 2 - very high sound volume , no sound , lagged sound.

I had the MSI 890GXM-G65 MOBO and when I updated the BIOS with the CD drivers features that it came in the box, the BIOS get damaged, this doesn't work.

@xX3PIDEMICXx27 Hi, it can yes. but only if you get an unexpected fail such as floppy disk fail, or power fail.

make sure your power supply is STABLE, and to be 100% sure bring electricity use to a minimum, i've flashed close to 100 bioses (yes i keep score...) and i had only a few failures..... but :) (here comes the good news) some new high end motherboards have the option to reinstall the settings AFTER it has been destroyed (via 2nd chip)
