Philippe a une voix absolument unique. Il est un être exceptionnel. Je crois qu'il est né pour chanter partager des sentiments. Dieu l'a voulu ainsi. Il a je dirais la perfection du chant. C'est son âme qui parle et la mienne l'entend jusqu'a l'émotion suprême. Vous avez su accompagner cette chanson. C'est vraiment très bien fait. Le noir et blanc lui va comme un gant. Cet homme touche les coeurs mais pas seulement il vous laisse comme une empreinte qui ne s'effacera pas. INFINIMENT MEGA MERCI .

Il avait 21 ans lorsqu'il chantait cette pièce avec Il seminario musicale de G. Lesne. Écoutez "Il nitrito dei fieri cavalli", c''est extraordinaire. Aujourd'hui la voix de Jaroussky a grandi aavec lui, mais c'et toujours aussi belle.

@rivagesyrtes J'aimes Jaroussky. Malhereusement ici, au Brésil, on ne trouve pas facilement ces oeuvres. J'amairais acheter des vidéos. "Vedro con mio diletto" avec sa voix c'est quelque chose de magnifique!

Because of Philippe's range, as well as the quality of his musicianship, I would like to see him star in major Baroque roles that are avoided by other countertenors because of the higher notes.

I don't think you will ever hear him sing in this kind of range in the future... I don't think it's viable long term wise and that's surely why he stopped. Even in that track, which I believe is a studio recording, you can clearly hear the strain he had to impose himself to sing the part.

You are probably right. Juan Diego Florez believes there is a limited number of high notes a singer can perform, so the more they sing, the sooner they run out of these notes
