Good point at the end. That realization clicked with me today, as I thought. The U.S. "left" is actually quite right of center. Yet the right wing is so far out that the "left" seems to contrast. Actually it isn't the right pulling the country yo the right atm. Obama has managed to make what used to be extreme right wing politics his own, thus forcing the nutcases on the right to go even further.
To me it's very simple: All politicians are paid by the same companies. They perform an act, trying to make americans become even more hopeless.
