5:15 - but that's exactly what Apple does with its advertising. Their adverts expose flaws in previous Windows versions, and gives the impression that OSX has none. So I think a switcher should be allowed to b*tch about a Mac crashing on them.
You can't buy a cheap good game computer, you can't change all components, you can't play hard-core 64-bits games, you can install mac os x on pc (hacintosh, iPC, iAtkos, Kalyway etc) So you can choose, I have both, a good game PC and MacBook Pro 13" Unibody, so I can say my opinion...
most people are stupid when it comes to break a computer, why break the monitor? That's not the problem, it's the Computer inside the case. People are so stupid to break their monitor when they can use it on a whole new computer.
i wouldnt really say stupid, i would say, they just dont know enough, and dont care. those ppl are casual users. ur wondering why do they break the screen. its because the screen displays things.lol. its the focal point in terms of viewing content. the screens is what shows u u HAVE AN ERROR.lol. so it gets hit first. just how it is.
Good vid, the first bit was funny. But if you are a power user when it comes to PC's, you're going to know how to fix basically any problem, like myself. I have a macbook and I love it, everything in OS10 is very straightforward. So really, for my main OS, if I had a mac pro (for the power) I would probably run OSX as my main OS. But atm I am very happy with my custom built beast PC (built by moi)
yes dude, i accept that, but canonical has done a very good job in the case of ubuntu. Its installation is just so easy with a few clicks.. and mostly every hardware gets detected .. and a lot of good desktop effects to excite you. Linux has already become user friendly in Ubuntu version. Things will improve over time...in the acceptance rate
im making the switch in match im getting a macbook a mac mini the new ones when there out in march and also an iphone 3G :D i think thats a switch dont you lol
a mac is not a pc. pc is windows not intel. intel is just the processor. do some studying. a processor does not cause the problems. it is the operating system that is the fault.
"a mac is a pc macs are running pn intel from pc" what i meant to say to her was that intel and pc are not the same thing. pc is a general term for all computers but intel is a maker of proccessors that run the computers.
1. Just wait until your macs break warranty. They start going to hell. I have had about equal problems with a MacOSX computer after a year as i did with a windows vista computer of the same age. 2. That windows computer was running Vista. 3. Mac OS is incompatible with 90% of the market. You can't really use them for business unless your entire business uses them. Also thats why there aren't many viruses for them. There is no point. The worst is a Level 3 and that is pushing it.
The iMac crash at 2.30 lmao! I'm getting a mac in the next couple of weeks but i can't decide whether to get a Macbook or iMac (I already have a 12" vista laptop which crashes a lot!). Any advice?
Well basically, do you want a desktop or laptop computer? If you'll only be using it at home, then iMac's the way to go. But if you want to be able to travel with it, whether for work or school, then go with a Macbook.
Also, it depends what you'll be using it for. If you're doing a lot of graphics-related things, for example, the big screen on the iMac is better, as it's bigger.
hey drbuk im switching tommorw and i was wondering all my music is on my old hp would signing into my itunes account let me get all my files without using an external hard drive
im not drbuk but deactivate your songs and transfer them to the hard drive. go into ur music folder and back up the itunes folder. then transfer that folder to you mac music folder and overwrite. but before open itunes and set up.then open itunes and activate your songs.
this video had no advice whatsoever about actually switching, it was just you preaching about how great macs and apple are.I grant you the fact that they are good but lets not forget that apple are a business. They want to make money. Its OK going on about how they make sure its great before it gets to the user but with almost all of their products they want users to frequently update which costs the user money
I've had my MacBook since April for the first time in my life. And I have never yelled at it. In 1993 I got my first Windows PC and all I ever did was yell at my pc ever since. Yes, I have punched a few monitors.

oh i love my imac, the screen is BLISS the colours resolution is just beautiful. the gloss screen helps it look as nice as possible. i mean i have my brigtness at zero and forget its at zero an try reduce it.lol. plus u got better graphics card in the imac over the mac mini. so ye imac is a real nice system. no issues so far

The reason Windows PC's have issues is because the original IBM PC was cloned and Microsoft led the way!
Apple is the IBM of today with a closed system where the same company that builds the hardware also writes the software.

Adobe's CS Stuff, FinalCut Studio, Shake (look at the licencing price OS X vs Linux), QuarkXpress....
You could go for a Windows system too, but with a Mac , You've got access to Mac Only Appps +Windows only Apps along with your Linux...
the "particular reason" being up to you if you decide to earn you money with tools unavalaible on Linux...
