There are SEVERAL test prep books with practice computer tests to get u used to timed testing. Kaplan puts out a good book (don't pay for GRE prep "courses" unless you don't learn well from books).
PS, ANY grad program in communication or counseling psyc DOES NOT need a high math score. Trust me on that =]

You might look into grad. schools that offer some night or online classes that cater to experienced/working adults. They sometimes don't have application deadlines (or they have summer ones), and some don't require any GMAT or GRE scores. A Master's in Psychology would be interesting-- might be ideal and/or necessary to have a Ph.D. and clinical internship if you want to practice later. The communications route has more competition and people w/ the same background, which could be good or bad.

I agree with you on standardized testing, same feeling, it sucks even when you kicked the crap out of school and got an awesome GPA and then you have to take a lame test that you have to pay for that is so much harder than any test in school.
Oh, the cover letter thing. When I was hiring people, I looked through the cover letter to make sure that they were checking their spelling and grammar but I'd pay attention to the resume. Some people didn't send a cover letter, I didn't really mind, but this was for a tiny company.

I totally can relate to the SAT ordeal. I could have received a higher score on my writing if I hadn't planned it all out before beginning my essay. Stupid timed tests.
And you are totally entitled to sleep in. I'm unemployed and not going to school until the Fall, so I sleep in until 11-ish on weekdays.
And I'm not so sure what I would want you to talk about. Actually, it would be cool if you talked about this sudden movement throughout the states to legalize civil unions & same-sex marriages

i'm currently working in 2 different majors which are Psychology and" Interpreting for the Deaf". ( so i can help the H.I and H.H without having to use an interpreter).
Cool you like psychology, don't like math, and enjoy art. (just like lol...though i really really have an abhorrence for Math)

You would make a great psychologist. The way you communicate is so real to life and that puts people at ease. I would feel comfortable with a psychologist like you just for that fact.

Your vids are great !! But i have a technical tip or wish or whatever you want to call it. This is just a detail, but could you leave your camera on for another 4-5 seconds at the end of your vids. It allways seems like we are missing the last half sentence, kind of irritating.

I agree with you on standardized testing, same feeling, it sucks even when you kicked the crap out of school and got an awesome GPA and then you have to take a lame test that you have to pay for that is so much harder than any test in school.

Oh, the cover letter thing. When I was hiring people, I looked through the cover letter to make sure that they were checking their spelling and grammar but I'd pay attention to the resume. Some people didn't send a cover letter, I didn't really mind, but this was for a tiny company.

Regarding cover letters, I've never had to read them but I've written plenty, and I've always tried to get the gist of what I'm saying into the first line or so, for fear people will read no further...so I suppose Twitter is a good way to go!
