  • Sean Kinney fucking rocked the shit out of those drums. I get adrenaline just listening to that alone

  • Fucking badass video love how Layne changes it up goes low then screams extra high. This video is rare as fuck, theres not much of him wit his long hair in dreads. Badass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love Jerry's solo !

  • Alice in chains = The best thing of the 90s!

  • i like the way layne sings the live version better

  • No Dislikes. As it should be.

  • EPIC.

  • Layne Staley could belt it out as good as ANYONE.

  • To me personally this the REAL Alice in Chains. R.I.P. Mike and Layne you can finally ROCK together once more.

  • what Iwould give to have been there.

  • Que SoM dO CaRaLhO!

  • i think man in the box is harder to sing by a little

  • The hardest song to sing by aic rip LS

  • @charlie199995 I would go with Love, Hate, Love

  • The earlier the videos, the more animated Layne was onstage. RIP Layne

  • damn,Layne was sooooooooo hot

  • very underrated song

  • I'm pretty sure they played Santa Monica Civic Center with Pearl Jam this same year, I went to that show. Moved to Seattle soon after and saw them a bunch more times. Met them in 1994 for the first time and saw them around town often.

  • i saw aic in seattle before they had a record contract, saw them open up for slayer, megadeth, and anthrax on the "clash of the titans" tour, saw them on their last tour......seen them a bunch of times. r they good now? yeah. but they'll never b as great as they were with layne. i even saw mad season in seattle at the croc. god bless layne. aic with layne was the best there ever was and the best there ever will b. disagree? get fucked.

  • @jpgchains they had a deal before that. They signed with Columbia in '89, and the titans tour was in 91. Still cool you saw them then. I saw them w/Layne in '96.

  • @jpgchains NO doubt at all. I saw them in Olympia in 89 with Gruntruck - that was before anyone but us in Seattle knew who they were. Of course at the Central many times too. Layne was the king, no one else can do it. The new cover band they put together is awful...what a joke. Why would anyone even relmotely attempt to sing something Layne sang.

  • @jpgchains i agree with you 100%, and you are so fortunate to have had the pleasure of seeing Layne perform live! Good for you.

  • i could give my right or left arm just to hear live this incredible man called Layne Staley...

  • Omg, that raise he does with his voice at 5:26 gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. Layne Staley, best vocalist ever.

  • Fucking crowd. Why ain't they screaming their asses off in the end. That was such a half as metalz cheer!!

  • @Solarsonic17 layne prolly had them all hypnotized with his sweet voice & beauty

  • i get goosebumps whenever i hear layne raise his voice like that at 5:18 for example.......he kills me

  • Comment removed

  • sad tune.. awsome voice, never can touch it...

  • Why aint the crowd aint doing more... if i was amongst that crowd i be going mental, but most of seem to be zombies.......

  • Wish i was there.... wanna jump into my comp screem........ damn it... Miss you Layne... Alice in chains rulezzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Man.. Gives me goosebumps..

  • Wow! This concert actually took place exactly 1 week before my 9th birthday! Awesome video! Singer Layne Staley (RIP) in his better days, and Jerry Cantrell playing his guitar next to him! Brilliant chorus!

  • The chorus is so fucking amazing.

  • This is the most uniform and complete I've seen Layne's dreads. Probably not too long before he cut them considering that the original Sea of Sorrow music video can't have been shot too long after this.

  • Man, this is incredible.

  • Love this song

  • Different but cool to hear Layne do one of my fav songs in a different key. It grows on ya. Layne lives

  • I was only a few months old when this was filmed, crazy to see. Thanks for the Upload. Such a passionate song, by a passionate band.

  • anyone else notice how the coloured lighting on the stage makes them look like they're all on the cover of facelift? pretty tight

  • Probably on purpose.

  • Yes, good observation. True in fact.

  • @ByngaraBaller

    Well said

  • @ByngaraBaller

Put on some 3D glasses and watch. Doesn't it look even better? :D At least it works for me. ;)

  • these guys are so amazing

  • Thanks for uploading, this is great stuff. Nice to see a live performance of the song from back in the day. One of my faves.

  • alice in chains is my life and my death

  • layne foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

  • this is stupid, how come no records alice in chains in HD? stupid 90s

  • wow what a voice.

  • nice job uploading this-so awesome

    R.I.P. Layne!

  • Killer song. Layne Staley was trly godlike.

  • I would like if the backing vocals were from Mike ;)

  • i think that he does bv in some songs, confusion included

  • I know... but he didn't do here, on this concert ;)

  • Starr did do backing vocals on this track, and that's coming from what he's told me.

  • (read above!) ;)

You knew him??? Tell more!! :)

  • Yeah, just like they are on the album.
