@allygarvin1999876 Uh...no. Prue's character was killed off because Shannen Doherty wasn't happy with working with Alyssa Milano & there was a lot of tension onset because of their not getting along. And she also was not happy about the direction of the show. She said she wanted it to be darker and more about witchcraft and less "superhero-like", but the producers did not want to go in that direction. Plus she wasn't really happy about the direction of her character either, so she left.
The spotlight was on Prue a lot, especially in season 3, for obvious reasons. But her character made sense, she was the eldest one, the most powerful one and the one who took care of her sisters. I miss the show too, but thxs to a wonderful young woman I met online, I have a treasure box from Phoebe's Loft (COA included), pieces of the break-away glass from the final battle (COA incl), & a pair of Piper's earrings she wore to a benefit (COA incl) though I bought the earrings myself but the other 2 were gifts I will always treasure.
I admit I miss Prue, the character but not Shannon. She's got a knack for shooting off her toe despite her foot. It's been proven over & over again.

Yeah, but the charmed ones is all about the power of THREE, the triquetra, their symbol.. If Prue had lived, and Paige still came into the picture, she would have gotten her powers as a whitelighter and a witch, yes.. BUT she wouldnt have had her strength as part of the charmed ones and therefore been no match for Christy and Billy who were two really strong witches..
@bellagirl89 you're right. Melinda Warren said that the Warren line will get stronger and stronger until three powerful witches...not four...The four thing was only an idea to keep the show alive. They didn't have in mind to make a fourth sister before they had learned Shannen wanted to quit the show...
@Aretisweet I know, and yes, as every Charmed-fan states; She could've used telekinesis/astralprojection etc to use her full power, but they knew already when season 3 was in making, that she wouldn't stay. And yes, it's extremely sad that she left, but she said herself in the "making-of"-clips on the DVD-boxset, that she couldn't handle coming to work, doing something she loves, and seeing others at that job, complaining about little things that shouldn't really matter.
