My folks had this album ("Calypso"); I listened to it all the time when I was a kid (during the 60's). I go around singing "The Jackass Song" ,"Day-O", "Hosanna" or "Will His Love Be Like His Rum?" at school, other kids thought I was completely whacked (and they weren't far from wrong). My mom thought it was pretty cool, tho.

Incredible...This was the the the first song that I learned to play on guitar..

Later,I worked in a hotel where Harry was a guest.When I said to his manager that Jamaica Farewell was the first song that I played on guitar,he just couldn't believe.

He asked,but how you know that song that was some 50 years ago..When they were leaving,Belafonte asked what's my name,where I am from,and gave me his picture.He just wrote to my....,and peace.

Dieser Mann kann es einfach.
