  • how much was the steering setup?

  • Gay as shit. Why would you convert to IFS on a jeep? But hey, it's a square, who cares.

  • @WWoodyW Long arm IFS handles better at speed in snow and sand.

Makes no difference going quickly though, rear dana 60 and front dana 44 would have been a better, cheaper option.

  • thats more of a 4 foot drop

  • So, Im turning 16 in a year, And i am workin on getting a wrangler. I would like to get a wrangler with a 6.0. Or Put one in it, Is that possible. I want to get a stock wrangler. and get a v8 and just make it off road ready any idea as in how much it will cost all together?

  • @timmah123100 Idk if anyone has replied to you or not. If you haven't already found the answer you're looking for on one of the 50 Jeep forums, I'll tell you. If you want speed, don't get a Wrangler. I had a '05 Ram 1500 with a hemi, now a Wrangler, with a V6 mini van engine. I love my wrangler though, and I'm looking into a 5k RIPP Supercharger for a little less than 100 more hp. The hemi alone will cost at least 10k, plus the kit to go with it which is another 5k. If u have the money do it.

  • @Dou6t9 Nvm.. LOL but what would you suggest for an off road vehicle like for a first one?

  • @timmah123100 Well I suggest the Wrangler if you are serious about off roadin'. I mean this video proves you can do nearly anything to the Wrangler. There are more mods for the Jeep then money in my bank. If your more interested in a car that can take you from 0-60 in 4 seconds flat, this ain't it. At the end of the day I miss my Dodge Ram Hemi even if it was a dodge, but the Jeep is fun as shit. I just put a 3 inch lift and exhaust on it, next step is some 35's, then the RIPP supercharger.

  • @Dou6t9 True that, except if someone buys a newer JK and expects to break the land speed record they need to have their head examined. You can probably do the Hemi swap for around $7K if you do your home work and check local salavge yards you can find a totaled hemi powered chrysler and pick up the motor...it will take work. But for that kind of money I would look at something custom, maybe a ford mod motor or something. I lov emy JK and it's my 4th Jeep Wrangler.

  • @timmah123100 thats a dream sir. unless your dad is ballin its going to cost you around 15k plus the price of the jeep

  • @timmah123100 For not so serious offroading. Start small. Buy a wrangler. throw a 3 or 4 inch lift in it and like some 33's. Then youu can go off road. then just as you get money upgrade it more and more. No one starts out with a crazy rig, its a project.

  • Now THAT is a Jeep!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lame

  • That thing idle's so low. Also, what kind of axles and suspension is on that? It looks like a monster

  • thats a sick jeep bro

  • i wanted to see it go back up the 6 foot wall!

  • You guys should do Mattracks on one of these.

  • Yeah 6 feeet SUREE! It was about 3

  • @alexthepalix those tires are prob atleast 54 which is almostfive feet and its higher then them so ya 6 feet

  • @CodyMinary009 im willing to bet those are 46's...mickey tompson dont make baja claws any bigger than that yet...only thing that comes as a 54 incher is a interco tire or military dirivitive

  • Nice Jeep Man !!

  • Why switch to independant suspension?

  • Its unknown vehicle this time . I don't know a lot of things about this kit !

what is tha Maximum Speed ? Can I put Mattrack ? How its doing in Desert soft sand . No videos , No information & No sources .

  • takeing rigs to the extreme, good job man

  • Love it. It is awesome.

  • now go up the rock! long live solid axles but still a sweet ride!

  • at least you guys show what you build, not like buying not knowing what you are getting, another sweet vid

  • Is this one of the rigs featured in Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off Road March 2009 issue?

  • I love jeeps and i have and 89 wrangler but sorry that is so ugly it is sad. Oh and the idependant suspension is a very expensive JOKE.

  • @fitbmxseries1 to show off

btw i love fit bmx stuff

  • I just don't think the independent suspension witch im guessing is air bags? (idk though) But i don't think they allow for enough flex, and maybe i did have a boner, how would u know. Kind of creepy that u knew!! haha, but ya its a nice jeep i just don't think its practical for off roading to tall and i don't see it flexing that much, but nice build.

  • @Clayton130813 when flexing independent suspension it will look alot different almost like theres not alot of flex but put that bad boy on an RTI ramp and get ready to be impressed

  • Thats not 6 feet tall and almost any jeep with a lift could do that they would just scrape the belly skid. So im not that impressed and yes i know what a jeep can do because i have one and go rock crawling every weekend.

  • @Clayton130813 if you own a jeep you shoudlnt be impressed by what it did but by what it is.... Independent suspension and rear wheel steering.... boner zone right there.

  • I'm still waiting for the 6 foot rock drop. that was close to 4 1/2 but not much more.

  • you did that like it was nothing haha

  • That forest is trashed! Fire?

  • @transdrole Just winter I think

  • fucking sweet...

  • whyisnothingavalible @ in ww2 they were buuilt crappy and fast. but know they have that problem fixed. besides a ford could never do this ever.

  • it looks cool but i dont see THAT much use for it. first there is too much that could go wrong. second backin WWII jeep came out with the m151a1 and they had problems with roll overs because if one tire came off the ground it tended to fold up under it therefore when weight was put back on it, it failed but if you can make it work and sell it for an affordible price go for it. it would be a pretty cool product

  • I mean it look like a cool feature but I dont its all that great I mean when you you really need that..I prefer the old fashion way... but I mean if you got the money for it give it hell ...just not for me i guess

  • @Balowin wow, a reply not bashing the hell out of someones rig... god?

  • can you make it so olny the front wheels steer

  • Yes,

  • @camoskill Thats a very nice jeep. Its well done and compact. Nice setup.

  • God that must be so nice to have and to know that you can just take a 6 foot drop like it were a pothole. My TJ is still stock :(

  • nice ride dude =), to bad it wasn't a formula off road truck those things are WICKED!

  • how muck was the lift was it all custom like you mede it or did you buy it how much would the shocks bee if i bot them?

  • thanks. i love that so much.

  • Compared to a standerd lift how meny inchs is this pleas reply

  • it has a 16" of adjustable lift, controlled in the cab by a joystick.

  • hi. im not old enuf to drive but when i do i want a jeep i love this so much i want one can you say rufly how muck it will cost to get one of those suspencion set ups

  • this truck is for sale for $80,000.

  • @gocms why is it so much.

  • @gdaoud54 There are lots of highly machined parts and it is very intricate.

One tire and rim alone is $1000 plus we have pneumatic air cylinders / valves more moving parts, bushing, computer system and joy stick to manage your ride heights and also the rear steer components. So it all adds up real fast.

  • @gocms why is it so much

  • @gdaoud54 Well.. all the parts add up. each wheel it 1K then the air cylinders, air blocks, rears steer hydraulics...the big block converstion and transmission/ transfer case. Labor.......We also have a custom built computer system that manages all the air rides highs and driver control inputs.

We would love to make it cheeper so that everyone can enjoy driving our trucks. We buy quality components and to have a high quality build team .....well you won't get it from Walmart or China.

  • @camoskill Haha this is kinda cute... hey pal you can get a lift kit for a jeep for prolly around $200-$400 your best bet is to save your money and just buy an already lifted Jeep as most used Jeeps are already lifted... Good luck with saving the money... I know it burns a whole in my pocket!! : )

  • long travel added

  • What kind of axles are those?

  • These are military rebuilds.

  • do you know what vehicle used these units?

  • Ok, now go back up it. :-)

  • most don't work but after 20 years this system works. So don't knock it till you've beat it.

  • ifs is retarded

  • nice

  • nice. I've never seen ifs on one before
