Blame it on the Boogie, was written and released first by English songwriter Mick Jackson, The Jacksons than manager (Peter Kerstin) heard the track, took a recording and it went to the states for the Jacksons to make a quick recording. The song was jointly released in the UK, The Jacksons version was much more popular. Mick Jackson is credited as the songwriter on The Jacksons version. Great Track!
