Of course every country has it's dark side and its primitive side....but in India and Pakistan these dark, primitive aspects are ingrained in the culture.
They aren't ashamed of their barbarism as other people are. They are proud of it.
I only hope that with the rise in economic prosperity in the developing world, there will be a commensurate rise in the civilised treatment of the people who liive there.

I think you're being ignorant because lots of countries kill and invade countries in the name of freedom and Democracy. America is a land of freedom where people can freely choose what they want to do, such as marrying people of the same race, or to speak your thoughts freely with out being penalized, or fighting for something you know isn't right. If that isn't freedom, then WHAT IS?

You are obviously very educated, and I respect that. However, I cannot respect people for saying that "What I meant by saying what I said was that your country promote immorality and evil in the name of personal freedom." Personal Freedom is not a bad thing, it is one of many things that make America different from other countries. Americans have the right to speak our opinions and not to be arrested by what we said. We should all stop and agree on one thing:Marriage at a young age isn't right.

Right and wrong depend on the situation and the condition. Poor people have to follow a different way of life because they need to adapt according to their means and conditions. Of course marriage at a very young age is not right for the rich but not for the poor, because poor cannot wait for their girls to be married to a good bridegroom. First come first is the best option. They just can't wait for the better.
