Kelpies are lively, loyal and intelligent dogs. I read in the paper today that one was auctioned for $8,600 dollars at this year's festival. A hard worker indeed!
dat shudnt b called high jump..... its more like monkey climbing.try jumpin an 8 ft fence without touching( my greyhound cross) ...... and retrieve the hare alive to hand!!
@sparkyjohn100 u r just being stupid they have to jump straight up when its flat boards they have NO grip on the flat boards so its called a jump bcuz they cant climb flat boards idiot!!!
@neadyyyyyy i have to give credit to the kelpies coz they are without doubt very agile. but id still stand by my opinion that its more of a feat to clear an obstacle without touching .i think a whippet would be a better jumper thana kelpie in general. id love to see a kelpie jumping over a gate. id love you to upload a video of that and i would happily eat humble pie.
@sparkyjohn100 maybe but maybe not. This is a Kelpie high Jump though not a whippet high jump! I love irish wolfhounds!!! :) ANYWAY RILEY STILL IS THE RECORD HOLDER FOR KELPIES IN THE WORLD!
