Fair enough people want the wildy back, im all for that, although personaly i dont see the facination with it especially now u have pk worlds, fuck it, bring it back.
Free trade though for me, is a big No No... for so many reasons, for example ur gonna get players constantly buying cannonballs so everytime u try to purchase any from there its near impossible, the GE has now only got fixed prices, so cannonballs r 200gp, people sell them for 400gp and u aint gotta choice but to buy. bullshit
December 10th 2007 JaGeX announced the end of "unfair trades" and "real world trades".
This was a hoax because gold websites STILL existed and unfair trades called "junk trades" STILL took place on a daily basis.
Nothing Jagex does can hinder the way the game was meant to be. "Free" It isn't the world's largest "Free" game for nothing. And after 3 years of darkness the "Free" trade will finally restore from the wrongful actions of Mod Andrew - maker of RS but certainly not the brightest mod.
Jagex is a shady bunch. Since 2004 I've dealt with them with mutes and bans for doing what TehNoobShow got glorified for doing. Making vids, promoting my fansite, advertising YouTube, and spreading the word of RuneScape to the world wide web.
The rules were unclear. Rule 11 stated in 2003 "No scam websites" changed to "No websites" in 2004, then was completely removed 2009. 3 years to get unbanned for advertising for RS.
And they claimed to remove trades December 2007 due to RWT. So.. yeah...
The reason I'm doing this for is bc 1 mostly 1 I want all the shot that my friend is keeping for me ever since the trade limit came back and 2 I don't really care about Wiley but kinda yea bc now when I go get my loot I'll give my friend my stuff and loot up then go
Dnt get ur hope too high, jagex took away wildy and free trade to combat bot an real life traders. since it was taken away, bots gone down, I'd say, at least by 90% and all bots are now used on individual gain, not for RLT. Jagex won the war at the cost of some old players quitting, but since that many players joined or rejoined and the numbers r back again. Also the trade limit really got rid of item scamming as it's no longer very profitable. So after all that success, why change now?

I was also playing before free train and old fashend PKing was arownd. I am not shure which I'd like to see. On one hand I have a few friends who are newer to the game and only know of free traid and the old fashend PKing from storys I have told them. I would like to see them exsperince the game I fell in love with years ago. On the other hand I was acholy aproched by a gold seler who had the wrong RS username for a gold dilivery. "Did you order 9M?" T.T Not a fun exsperince.

The Grand Exchange will pretty much be useless since they're taking away the low and high prices boundaries. The rate of people hacking will sky rocket since it would no longer be difficult to transfer money to another account. Various clue scrolls and quests that include the wilderness will be changed, and the old way of merching will return which means players will hold items in order to sell them for really high prices. There are many downfalls to this update that people need to think about.

Basically if you read behind the lines, Jagex introduced RS2 (new greaphics) in 2004, they had free trade and wildy till 2007, thats 3 years. And hey, they had trade limit and no wilderness till 2010, they compared the money they made, and realised 2004-2007 was better. So yeah, now to bring back the "old days" they make this as an excuse, becouse they can't just do "We brought back the old stuff" becouse many people would ragequit. It's all about cash. End of story.
I've been playin' Rs for 4,5 years now, and I actually like what JaGex did with the trade system. And now that they have fought to take it away, why bring the old system back? If they do, then they have wasted time for nothing... I Personally think that the trade limit right now... is balanced. I can give my friends around 110k each 15 minutes. And people can't steal characters for cash anymore.
I liked the old Wildy... but I like the new one to.
RuneScape was made for player killing that if you win you get your opponents items.
Not for PvP random loots. RuneScape was made for Free Trade and staking. Not for limited trade. These Runescape orginal things have changed because of real world trading. Thumps up if you hate those RWT noobs and you are going to own them in "new" old wilderness :)

They'll bring it back regardless, if they dont even more people will quit. they'll be like "well u let us vote on this old stuff we can bring back and now it didnt even come back...i dont even want to play anymore"...for Jagex in there little article it may be best for the players...but for them...they need more money. be more open minded people.

Basically if you read behind the lines, Jagex introduced RS2 (new greaphics) in 2004, they had free trade and wildy till 2007, thats 3 years. And hey, they had trade limit and no wilderness till 2010, they compared the money they made, and realised 2004-2007 was better. So yeah, now to bring back the "old days" they make this as an excuse, becouse they can't just do "We brought back the old stuff" becouse many people would ragequit. It's all about cash. End of story.

I've been playin' Rs for 4,5 years now, and I actually like what JaGex did with the trade system. And now that they have fought to take it away, why bring the old system back? If they do, then they have wasted time for nothing... I Personally think that the trade limit right now... is balanced. I can give my friends around 110k each 15 minutes. And people can't steal characters for cash anymore.
I liked the old Wildy... but I like the new one to.

RuneScape was made for player killing that if you win you get your opponents items.
Not for PvP random loots. RuneScape was made for Free Trade and staking. Not for limited trade. These Runescape orginal things have changed because of real world trading. Thumps up if you hate those RWT noobs and you are going to own them in "new" old wilderness :)
