  • He said that growing up in Paisley helped him in the role of a killer wtf?like I said I never seen him in the warzone.

  • @urbankhat65 like I said..support what happening now and where it's needed...if that hospital wing closes then it indicates that there will be something really wrong there and guess what? His family still lives there eh...I suppose there was a massive illusion with those drug wars in the early 90's...I'd say it was a a big one about that warzone played out to the world that pretty much everyone knew about eh? Maybe you were ababy? Butler's sister still lives there. She must be seeing a ghost?

  • This pretentious prick can fuck off, talking about Paisley being rough.I never seen him in Foxbar/Feegie/shortroods or Gallowhill.

  • @urbankhat65 if you care you'd donate but I suppose remembering he's also trying to stop the main hospital from shutting down the maturnity wing has nothing to do with Paisley at all eh? He wouldn't support the fight to keep it open if he hadsn't got family in there still doing it rough...if you're not pretentious yourself why don't you put your attitude to good work and donate your time to worthwhile things& pick on some multinationals instead of an artist trying to give back till he bleeds eh?

  • I would like to add that I respect the effort of the men on both teams, raising money to help others. This is the real Gerry not what is on the screen Gerry.

  • @VARTANgirl Life is hope...and I agree with you.

  • Thanks so much for sharing-what joy on Gerry's face! I have to root for him- he is wearing my sister's number #23.Really enjoyed the video.

  • HE IS THE BEST BOYFRIEND.

  • Thanks so much for putting this together! The joy he expresses warms the onlooker's heart too. Its great to see these celebrities trying to make a difference..

I loved the music. What is it called?

  • @thesoulfuleyes The Last of the Mohicans (soundtrack) - composer Trevor Jones. With main traditional theme from 'The Gael' by Dougie MacLean.

  • Come on the bhoys! I wish Gerry was mine!

  • Okay, only 23 seconds in and I was really excited by this video and by 45 seconds in I was mesmerized. Wow...don't know what to say Steph. This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you.

  • I like Gerard, but somehow, this is a bit odd. Gerry always acts in romantic or historic movies, so I always picture him as a romantic/classical guy. And here, it's strange to see him play football (at least I think that it's weird), but on the other side, on that match, he wasn't actor, neither the classical guy, he was a player.

  • @NenadlPopovic Yes that's true but inspiration comes to me when I see how naturally good he is no matter what the project he turns to in the public. This was a charity match and Gerry put everything he had into it much like the art he's made. No, it's not romantic with a woman but it shows how he is with the hope he has for everyone. That we know the strength and joy that comes from making peace a reality with our efforts.

  • I LOVE this music. It is perfect for a Gerry video. I watched the WHOLE match on TV (UK) - probably the only time that I have ever watched a whole soccer match. Gerry must have felt so proud that day - and to have won; fantastic.

    Great video.

  • @lpbh25 Thank you dear

  • @ladyviki1 Thanks ....I bet she's never been to a real match in her life that 'writer'!

    Gerard you're pure dead brilliant!

  • paisleydailyexpress co uk renfrewshire

This paper and it's writer should be ashamed of themselves!

  • That was great....music perfect. I love that man.....He looks so happy doing this....

  • @ls123456ls I think so too....I think he was so happy that so many came to support the cause and to donate......Paradise Park was packed for one cause and its always amazing feeling when you know a show of numbers will make a difference to so many in need. Everyone was moved those there and those watching all over the world.
