  • I'm looking for a good young saddlebred stallion or mare that will rack like these horses. Anyone know where I can purchase a good one???

  • is that soring!!???

  • A saddlebred can't perform if sore. The vast majority of saddlebred show horses live a life of comfort and great care. I can say this because I was a caretaker of saddlebred show horses for 15 years. They are a lovely, energetic breed, who happen to love to work out.

  • Saddle is BEAST!!!! I love and i will never get sick of it.

  • Final countdown, eh? I thought it was Memories Citation at first.

  • How do they signal for the rack?

  • das is ja ma krass unnatürlich...okee is reiten ja allgemein meistens...aba das is schon heftig...

  • i do have one question for you since you are so disgusted what exactly is it that we are doing to this horse?

  • @EventingWithMe Im guessing your an eventer who has no knowledge of this breed? It doesn't hurt them. Its natural. They love showing and they Love the roar of the crowd.

  • @HarlemsBoomerangLvr

Hear, hear! Anyone who has ridden one of these amazing creatures will tell you that they are an enabler of these show-loving peacocks, no more than turning the key on a car! An extra ounce of "human" intelligence on these guys and they'd do it all by themselves. The rider is simply translating. :)

  • I have grown upwith saddlebreds.. they love sghowin.. its in thier blood ITS NOT CREUL sooo whoever says it is .. look at the horses they look totally happy

  • I dont have my own but have ridden since i wuz 3 and now i 11 almost 12 and now i show 4 the women who taught me... they are beautiful creatures

  • I love him and was so disappointed to not see him showing the last 2 years. He was the most interesting and exciting 5-gaited stake horse I have seen for a long time. On the other hand, it was nice to see the other 2 stakes get more competitive. The walk trot mare is probably the most beautiful open horse of our age and The Davinci Code was thrilling in harness!!! Anyone with questions about Saddlebreds, feel free to ask.

  • it is actually really cool to see the different breeds. I am more of a warmblood lover but these guys look pretty awesome! I know what the other people are saying about the abuse tho because there are a lot of stories about people tieing their heads back like that, putting weights on their hooves, and cutting the ligaments in the docks, but i dont think they understand that not all of them have that done to move like this, its completely natural without it being forced

  • yep!!!

i just taught my nsh to rack. its very natural

  • i agree with lynz411 u people who thinks this is cruel or think saddleseat is stupid they probally know nothing about horses and have never touched a horse. i have been riding horses since i was 3 and im 14 , i have a saddlebred horse named moses unrelenting and he enjoys showing saddleseat .

  • umm, that's what they're supposed to look like.. so don't say anything if you don't know crap about horses.

  • Om my god! whats going on for craps sake...that horses legs are moving so fast, this is scary!

  • Would love to see some of these top 5-gaited and 3-gaited with natural mane and tail and non weighted shoes; would be just as beautiful and great!

  • I think it's always funny to get on here and read what the dumb people put that this is abusive and the horses are unhappy, yet they've probably never been around a horse in their life. Any ways this horse is amazing, very smooth

  • okay. thanx

  • nice horse:D.but isnt that bouncy, smooth or what??

  • hahahahahhahaha, wtf :'D

  • Love it :) Rack On indeed. I find it really sad when people get Walkers confused w/ SB. a saddlebred would NEVER be sorn, they TROT too people, you can tell if they're off! I do Eventing w/ my nongaited Walker, but I used to do Saddleseat. Never have a seen a SB that was sorn. Because they'd be off at the trot!

  • Which horses are you talking about? If you are talking about Casey then you are saddly mistaken as he is in the care of Michelle Mcfarlane, whom I have met and can say if I died and I came back as one of her horses life would be pretty good. I can assure you that horse probably gets better care then a lot horses but of course some of that comes down to simple finances. My point being don't make drive by comments on something you know nothing about and expect anyone to take you seriously.

  • Quite the oposite actually I didn't see any unhappy horses.

  • FYI ignorant people...the reins are supposed to be a little tight! The bits are not sharp and the horse feels more secure with more pressure in its mouth. We are not talking about some dopey trail horse. This is a highly energetic American Saddlebred Stallion for crying out loud! WE DON'T SORE SADDLEBREDS!please gets some brain cells and come back later. There is no need to sore then (and we wouldn't even if we could) but the saddlebred has NATURAL front leg motion.

  • cut evancrab some slack he did not no

  • Funny how this account is already been closed by YouTube. I have to wonder if dvt3 = evancrab. Either way, your comments show lack of any knowledge about the breed you speak and come across as someone just trying to make trouble just to get a little attention.

  • Too bad you can't spell "soring". And this horse didn't experience that. SOAR means to fly you freaking moron. Grow up around the exquisite American Saddlebred and maybe you'll have a clue. Otherwise, go home, stick your head in a toilet and have a good soak, k?

  • Uhh...you got the wrong breed buddy, these are saddlebreds. Not Tennessee Walkers. But enjoy feeling like an idiot!

  • The reins are a little tight but there is no abuse happening here.

  • I get to go there this year. I'm really excited to see him!

  • geez that horse is really movin!

  • GO CASEY! I love that horse!:)

  • beautifull

  • omg i was there it was awsome & i cant believe they retired I'm A Treat!!!! omg he was like the best i love him i screamed my heart out for him!!!!!! i luv these video's!!!!!

  • is this from this year's World Championship in Louisville? I was there and it was sooooo amazing!!!

  • Yep. This was Michelle on Final Countdown. At the start of the video they are going at the Slow Gait and then they ask for the Rack.

  • Thanks for posting this! Love your WCH videos!

  • Thanks for the comment. I am still working on more from Saturday night.
