@tss77 what was the USA supposed to do? act as ROV's air force for ever and ever? the USA public had had enough of money and blood on this one and congress was about to cut off funding anyways.

@steagle9000 Well, I didn't say Vietnam was meaningless...but only that there had to be an end point somewhere. I was replying to someone who said HK sold out ROV with the Paris Peace Accords but my only point what was USA gonna do? Pubic had had enough, COngress was gonna pull the funding and USA allies were fed up etc. USA public as far as I can recall by 73 had said--ROV has had enough of a chance....
