  • My problem is not getting the light to come on or dim unless the fan is on high speed. I have a Lutron fan/light dual slider switch, three positions for fan. I want to run slow or medium and be able to have light and dim it. My fan has black, white, blue, and green wire. Blue is normally for the light. I even ran a wire from the red dimmer wire to the light bypassing the light on and off chain/switch. It did the same only coming on and dimming at high speed.

It is a Casbah #4152 by Kenroy Corp .

  • @Ncharlestun what wires do you have in your switch box? also what wires are in your ceiling box? By this I mean two wire, or three wire.

  • @thedisruptive1 Hi disruptive. My friend and I have deduced that I have a wire on this breaker system that is backfeeding power. Both the white and black wire when disconnected from the Lutron switch are showing power when grounded. I am going under the house this weekend to see what is mismatched on this circuit and may alleviate this problem. Thank you.

  • thanks 4 the help
