You really should not jump to conclusions. The only one dead is Claude,why because didn't Carl go to Liberty City and might have made friends plus Tommy originally Came from Liberty plus didn't Victor come from Liberty because he said something like he was from upstate. Claude isn't dead.
GTA4 is set in 2008 while GTA2 is set in the 2011-2012 era.
In GTA2 it says that you wake up after you get a bad disease where you go into a coma.
So that means Claude is still alive.

ok Victor and Tommy are the ones most likely dead coz both vice citys were set in 1980's CJ was proberly in his 20's in GTA SA so he'd be bout 40 now Toni looked like late 30's in GTA LCS and even older in GTA 3 so 50/50 hes dead dont know bout claude though but CJ isnt dead

@TheNathanNS actually maybe CJ dead by illness or someone killed him who knows! besides from 1991 to 2013 is a so long time so i think he can be in his 50s so maybe he's dead but the other characters from vice city are completely dead! cuz they were in 1986 and claude too! let us forget about that because i still play these games and it's annoying to know that they are dead! and it's sad too

@irmesia Cj left home when he was about 18 or 20. He came back to SA around the age 25. He'd only be in his late 30s or early 40s. I think when he fucked over the Russian mob, they killed him somewhere down the line. Which is stupid. That game brought out the hood in all of us.

@USMartyrMachine119 just incase you want to know cj was born in 1966 he left to go to liberty city in 1987 which would make him 21 when he left and he returned in 1992 which would mean he was 26,in gta 4 which is set in 2008 he would be 42 and these facts are right just look it up(im not wrong)

You really should not jump to conclusions. The only one dead is Claude,why because didn't Carl go to Liberty City and might have made friends plus Tommy originally Came from Liberty plus didn't Victor come from Liberty because he said something like he was from upstate. They all probally had some close friends and are probally still there plus i never heard Rockstar say all characters are dead.

the good thing is it's not considered canon with the gta 4 era so it's not them besides thumbs up if you agree it is possible that 1 or 2 other protagonists other than vic died but all 5 of them that's a little hard to believe & not only that tommy might still be alive until 2002 as he is mentioned in kent paul's website,the guy in fruntalot could be cj,both claude & toni are alive until 2001 so they are all almost alive past the year 2000 so if you ask me some of those guys might still be alive

Guys guys, Victor Vance dies in the starting of GTA Vice City...The intro where rosenberg and tommy are in the helicopter. Catalina gets killed by Claude in GTA III.. and GTA IV is not considered as the same era as the GTA III era games.

I dont think they killed them off.CJ is too badass to die.In GTA IV, hes probably in his late 30's.Tommy is the most badass of them all.He's in his mid 60's in IV.Claude's... just mute.Hopefully GTA V will have them.

I think GTA V should be a continuation of the GTA, where you did work for CJ, the oldest and leading the gang, but Rockstar said that all the other characters died before 2007, much of it dirty!

Ugh duh they don't die their health just reaches zero and they are returned to the nearest hospital and the doctors will take there weapons and cash for patching you up so they dont die !! :) lol

dude the whole reason CJ became his manager in the first place was because mad dog went into a depression so he offered to manage him ...or did mad dog ask him....? bu either way he became the manager after the tragic event and depression
