There is not a man watching this who did not get a chub while watching the movie. Everything from the awesome quotes to the fights, every guy has popped a small woody to this movie. It has nothing to do with sexual preference or your own personal masculinity. Every man who has watched this movie wanted to be Tyler for one reason and one reason only, "I look like you wanna look, I fuck like you wanna fuck, I am smart, capable, and most importantly, I am free in all the ways that you are not. "

What Fight Club means to me: Many of us and all of us at some point are simply drifting along, repeating the same actions, thinking the same thoughts, experiencing the same emotions. The Narrator was stuck in this cycle of sameness until he became emotionally and mentally numb. In order for him to break out of this he had to create Fight Club. Fight Club is the process of his awakening. Nothing is solved but he is on his way to self-overcoming and the realisation what he is meant to be.

I always wonder why if edward norton´s character have anti-consume, anti-advertisement and anti-vanity ideals, his subconscius creates an image of "the guy he want to be" that is maybe the most advertising/consume/vanity icon: a muscular Brad Pitt with cool glasses and expensive lether jackets and a convertible car...
