Naval Academy graduate, okay. Engineering student, okay. Naval aviator, okay. All of these things are something I could applaud Senator McCain for. Now, if he were an WWI or WWII avaitor that got shot down in a dogfight. I'd say pretty damn impressive.

I don't mean any hate or disrespect, but I've got to ask, getting shotdown after a bombing run and going to a POW camp, how does that make someone a hero?

It's not hard to graduate from a naval academy when your father is like royalty there.

John McCain sucked as an aviator too, he lost like 8 expensive airplanes due to his stupidity. He'd take one out, do something stupid, and just ejector-seat and let the airplane explode.

The fact that a sucky pilot like McCain failed America and got his butt kicked doesn't mean that he isn't an insane warmonger.

John McCain is a "Real" hero alright, he was a pilot who bombed and killed innocent women and children in Vietnam -- some fucking hero. Those he wiped out had no chance and had no idea what was coming (to be blown to bits and burned alive). And because he murdered human beings, his karma eventually has caught up with him by becoming a prisoner of the war and being imprisoned and tortured. A true hero is one with no human blood on his hands.
