Hey man I appreciate your reply! A few friends and I just bought a few yaks and we are going to do the same thing you have been. I have done it in a canoe before I was smart enough to switch to a yak, Im just trying to figure out what works and what dont scince weight and space is now a big issue. Have you slept in that bivy in the rain?

thats cool i am going on a kayak trip this spring starting in the begining of the brandywine river all the way to the ocean. I will pass through the christina river, delaware river, and delaware bay.
