What is important about this song. When Jesus is glorified and his name is proclaimed to be the Savior or a lost world. then nothing else matters. For salvation comes by hearing and hearing by the world of God. (Bible) a truly beautiful song sung by a man who God loves and only wants more than his gift of song. He wants his sould complete in forgivneness. Only He can make that choice. Thank you Ray for sharing.

I came to know this beautiful song today by watching the movie: Karla Faye Tucker: Forevermore here on YT (and also the original interview). This lady, sentenced to deathand executed in 1998 "performed" this great song. I was deeply touched by this story of a truly converted lady who highly impacted (not only) her environment in the death row.
And please guys; don't debate theologiy and doctrine here. Be light to the world by showing Jesus inside of you. God bless you all.

The Catholic Church is responsible for founding Islam, Mormonism, and Jehovah's Witnesses, persecuting Jews and starting the Holocaust, and founding and promoting Communism.
Are Roman Catholics really "Christians"? No, they are just a branch of those lost who went to far in their own ways. They think they have to do a lot of traditions. But no, God's Word clearly says it is by Faith we are saved, not religion or good works.

I usually play this song in my head when I picture a scene if every single person in the world was shown "The Light of the World" by Jack Chick, in their own languages. It would be a beautiful site seeing A LOT of people falling down on their knees, praying to God to forgive their sins, and receiving Jesus into their lives and choosing to follow Him!
