Do Not look at this video. While the song is beautiful the person who has posted this has embeded flashing images, that are all very negative, they are designed to encourage suicide. Not uncommon on the net, dont be alarmed, listen to the song but avoid the video. Unfortunately there are people out there that derive some sense of something from this behaviour. Brillant version by Sinead. I notice that it differs from the Kirsty Mc Coll version. In Mc Coll version the girl in question is either pregnant or has had a child. Not quite sure as it years since i heard her version.

great Song, great book, great film. BTW, have a look at the novel and film as well (very sad and tragic, but as well genuinely funny at the same time) this song refers to, Sinead also appears in the film playing the Virgin Mary! Great piece of art, involving sad/tragic/macabre subjects in the history of Ireland like domestic violence and child abuse by Catholic clergymen (still a topical issue).
