this game... really didnt do it for me :-( the graphics lets face it, look like a ps1 game from 1995... i completed Tales of Monkey Island though and all of the other ones, they are great games great humor and its always the humor that brings people back.. its so dry sometimes ;-) but when they start messing with 3D you know its going to be disapointing. Look for Goblins adventure series then look at the 3D, you'll know what i mean lol

Thanks for the Review, as a MI Fan I found ToMI being quite loyal to the real deal, I believe the first episodes must have been the harder ones to make, is not easy taking up a IP that has been... "dead", for 10 years and making a completly NEW sequel with a NEW story based around it, I hope there is more to come.

Nice Review... jus finished playin the game a couple of days ago.. the game was quite refreshin after the monkey crap marketed out the previous time i.e Escape from MI... The opening theme brought back excellent memories from the good ol' days.. but I still feel the curse of MI is by far the best game with an excellent plot and appealing graphics... not to forget the best insult sword fighting.. hopefully it's back in these episodes..neways cant wait for the next episode..

I was a huge fan of King's Quest 5 and 6 back in the day. I bought a computer just for them. I am sad to say that I have never played a Monkey Island game.
So glad monkey island has returned. Still a shame that tim schafer left lucas arts and isnt making any new games. Imagine, Grim Fandango 2, Monkey island return of.......large quantities of ale.
Instead we have brutal legends, which isnt that bad but it will never match either of the two games I was refering to. This game managed to capture the original charme monkey island had, and thats why....I am going to play it all night.

Well he certainly contributed to a few of them for sure, but the main writer and creator of Monkey Island is Ron Gilbert. ;)

I liked Sierra adventure games, especially the Quest for Glory games, which are adventure and RPG hybrid. However, I have never liked Monkey Island.
What I am very excited right now is... the MechWarrior reboot! The new game has just been revealed as a PC/Xbox 360 exclusive. You can look for the new gameplay trailer here on YouTube.

Nice Review... jus finished playin the game a couple of days ago.. the game was quite refreshin after the monkey crap marketed out the previous time i.e Escape from MI... The opening theme brought back excellent memories from the good ol' days.. but I still feel the curse of MI is by far the best game with an excellent plot and appealing graphics... not to forget the best insult sword fighting.. hopefully it's back in these episodes..neways cant wait for the next episode..

So glad monkey island has returned. Still a shame that tim schafer left lucas arts and isnt making any new games. Imagine, Grim Fandango 2, Monkey island return of.......large quantities of ale.
Instead we have brutal legends, which isnt that bad but it will never match either of the two games I was refering to. This game managed to capture the original charme monkey island had, and thats why....I am going to play it all night.
