  • I watched this a year ago. I enjoyed it then. I enjoy it now.

  • Abused by you my ass. That was beautiful. Jeff would be proud...

  • sounds likeadisection of PJ harvey i dunnothe version is coolbutthe piano is so perefectand i cant even think in say "Good job" no emotion presented.

  • THAT is one sexy lady, nice cover i think it works better with a telcaster but stil nice, and VERY easy on the eyes!(and ears)

  • I like it, and that is that, we all want to play rock star once in a while, so keep having fun and it's not that bad I think anyway.

    Love!

  • I personally think this is great. It's always good to hear a JB song tried a different way.

  • ARE YOU HAVING A SEIZURE?

  • I liked it! Good job! The haters couldn't even sing an out of tune version of an out of tune version of Mojo Pin. It's definitely envy. Go green.

  • awful

  • Lovin' this....Keep it Going!!!

  • lol it looks liek you were pissed off cause she doesnt sound exactly like buckley, well, i expected cover, a personal interpretation, and i got it.... though it looks a little bit like fooling around in the second part. you have a good voice anyway

  • It's a great excuse to say that it's the way the person wants to interpret the song... To give the song another face with a new arrangement is one thing. But to sing in any tune or time... You know, it's something completely different. I am not saying that to put this person down... It's just for her to see what is not nice and improve it. And as I have said before, I do not appreciate fake feelings... Like making faces trying to seem sexy or pretty. So, I think that's enough.

  • Thank you for you thorough criticism. As you can see, I changed the timing after the first chorus and I did it on purpose. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it's a wrong kind of a timing - it's just different. Obviously, you disagree and you've made your point clear.

  • On "making faces" and such: I'm not accustomed to performing for a video camera and I decided to play a little, perhaps even flirt with the camera a bit. It may seem fake, yes. However, I don't consider my singing fake in any level, on the contrary.

  • She's a fan, and wants to make it known. XD.

  • This video rapes the good sense. It's tragicomic... You kind of have a nice voice... But, please, try to use it in a proper way...

  • We aim to please.

  • i'm sorry, but you've completely changed the tonality of the song...it's one thing to do a cover in your own way, but keep true to the overall tonality of the song...it doesn't even sound remotely the same.

  • Hello handsome. I don't see why the cover should sound "even remotely" the same. This is my interpretation of the song and I prefer doing it my own way. However, different opinions are always welcome.

  • The Jeff would agree wholeheartedly, and would feverishly and with great conviction oppose the conformist preciosity of oxymorons like handomerube.

  • you, sir, would be the moron...my handle comes directly from a jeff song, "nightmares by the sea"...the line is "your rube is young and handsome."

    check-mate...

  • i can certainly appreciate ones own interpretation and attempt at making the song their own...i apologize if my remark came across harshly. IMO, it's just too far removed from the original for me to enjoy...

jeff's covers of his heroes are the ultimate example of making the song his own while maintaining the integrity of the original...oftentimes surpassing the quality of the original.

  • My god, stop over analysing! Its extremely annoying and pretentious. She did this cover at home on her piano, she's not trying to re-invent the wheel. It's just a bit of fun isn't it.

  • suck it!!! you're entitled to my opinion...

  • That's a convincing argument handsomerube, well done. I'd rather suck your mothers many teets tho, what with cows providing such a good source of calcium and all.

  • last time i checked, this was a free society...i have a right to express my disdain for this cover, just as she has a right to do it in the first place. so go fuck off with your "stop over analyzing" bit (btw, it's with a "z" english boy)...

as i said...you're entitled to my opinion!!!

  • free society my arse

  • you look retarded...and sound horrible...lucky u have a nice rack

  • i agree. thats one of the funniest things ive seen before

  • This is one of my favorite songs in the whole wide world...

I think you're doing a good job..The piano suits this song. Well done girl!

  • (continuance)

To sing the way you started is the best way to sing well and to use your real feelings. Or the one who's watching you will think she/he's seeing a robot or a character... and not a real singer who just want to show what she knows or wants to do.

  • You started on a good way...

I know that to sing well a Jeff Buckley's song is not something easy to do... But I don't know what happened in the middle of the way, that you started to play and sing out of tune and time. Another thing is that those "sexy" faces and figures seem too fake.

    (to be continued)

  • very good interpretation .please dont go down an octave.jeff didnt always pitch perfecly but always sang with feeling ( as do you )< thats the most important thing.SOUL .

  • What do you mean Jeff didn't always pitch perfectly?? He was an excellent singer..In his own style as well.

  • He's right. Jeff was awesome, but he did occasionally slip our of tune. Deal with it - he's not God.

  • There's a lot of singers that have a style not being in tune all the time..Thom Yorke, Ane Brun, etc etc..

  • Ahhh, I love Thom Yorke.

  • Aww, me too.

  • I thought it was quite a good interpretation of the song. Perhaps try singing an octave lower?

  • Yeah, I guess it could work out a little better, since I have rather a low voice.

  • yea same here. Seeing as i'm a guy, not many of us have a voice as high, or with the range of Buckley. My falsetto leaves a lot to be desired too :(

  • I loved it, the piano gave it such a different sound to the original, then you started singing and it just got better and better :-)

  • Thank you. Perhaps I should try some other Buckley songs with the piano as well. :)

  • that was a worth while shot!

good voice! good style! nice piano! great books collection! :P

but yeah you did abused the song a bit specially on some high notes but who doesn't? besides Jeff of course :P

  • thanks!

and yeah - it's kinda difficult to try and keep up with jeff. ;P
