Tina Griswold was my neighbor. She was very friendly. She had a son and husband. Unfortunately the son and husband couldn't attend the funeral for some reason. At night when her son found out his mother died he came to my house and told my little brother who was best friends with him. So they went to their relative's house after the funeral which they watched at their house.

I'm a correctional officer for the state of Kansas, and I've responded to calls where my friends were attacked really badly. Hearing "Officer down!" on the radio is a terrible thing, even if they're just really badly hurt when you get there. You did a good job on this video. Corrections and police are family and we face the same challenges.

Awesome video. LEO's don't get enough respect or recognition. The only time they're in the news is if they're killed or are a suspect of brutality. Just once I would like to turn on the tv and see on the news where an officer has saved someone, but we all know anything positive wont be shown. :(

Brought tears to my eyes, yet again I say a prayer for those putting on the uniform and hope that they don't have to make the ultimate sacrifice. I know unfortunately the day will come when we will face our fears and stare it in the face saying "I will not back down" so that the innocent may remain protected. Walking out the door in uniform not knowing if we will return tonight to kiss our family hello, instead we kiss them good bye and say a prayer that it will not be the last time. God bless.

I have senveral friends who are police officers in Maryland, The last thing I EVER want to do is don my dress uniform, and drive down there to go to any of their funerals--and I know they don't want to put ther dress uniforms on, and drive up to NYC for mine!
