@elisa1998tr Well, they have a certain number of contracts and agreements. I think Disney has a certain number of seasons they do for shows they set on themselves then move on, from my understanding. Also people get older and move on especially if the actors want to do something else. Also times change, but I agree its a great show.

@elisa1998tr back then disney only gave their sitcoms 3 years to run, now because of the big success of hannah montana and wizards of waverly place, they now let their popular shows go 4 seasons or more, in the case of wizards, there might even be a 5th season because its so popular

That's why shows like Even Stevens & Lizzie McGuire were forced to end, regardless of their overwhelming popularity at the time. The rule was eventually thrown out around 2004 or 2005, and now the Disney Channel is free to make hundreds of episodes for their God-awful TV series.
