@Romulus123 Going in a new direction.....more so retracing to the past where they were in the 80s, where it was for the entire family. The current writers have little to know wrestling knowledge, they know more about Hollywood soap operas and that's their specialty. If WWE hired wrestling bookers, then it would be great!
this video brings back alot nostalgia. remember when i was a kid recording it over night from channel 4 then starting it up in the morning with this song. haunting
I think this storyline really has to be praised even more than it is. It was so long and complicated. It started in Nov. of 1999 and ended in say, Feb 2001 or even WM17 in a way. Think about that, you won't see a storyline like this again.
and then in the armegaddon 2002 3 stages of hell match between hhh and michaels, but no complains on that, that rivalry and that match was vicious and brutal
If Kane or Jericho were in this match instead of Rikishi then it would have been the best ever. Saying that Kane and Jericho had a great Last Man Standing Match on this undercard
Do you guys remember the promo intro they ran on Raw the following night, with this music but with highlights from the match? That was pretty badass too, I used to rewatch that show on VHS over and over.
This song is probably too heavy for the kids that watch wwe today. I guess its true that all good things must come to an end and entertaining wrestling has certainly come to an end
I thank you so much for putting this up, it was the best promo I ever saw for a ppv. God I remember the times when Hell in a Cell matches were quite infrequent and really violent. Now it's just not like that any more, shame. I use to love the WWF ( I refuse to call it WWE ). I was watching WWF religiously from the Royal Rumble of 2000 all the way to Judgement Day 2001. Unfortunately from there I felt that it was going on a big downward spiral. Long live the attitude years, they were fantastic.
i agree i remember watching this armageddon back in 2000 when i was like 11 yrs old and being completely drawn into all of these story lines especially the 6 man hell in a cell angle they had going on sadly wrestling just isnt like these good old days anymore
Shut the fuck up, kid. The HIAC PPV is a bastardization of the HIAC gimmick...HIAC should be only used to finish a heated feud. This one was the only one who broke the pattern, since so many feuds were put together in this match (Rock-Angle, Angle-Taker, Austin-Rikishi, Austin-Triple H, Rock-Rikishi, etc)
@soontobe1982 ROFL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA MATE U SAID IT LIKE I WOULD!!! (5 SUPERSTARS AND RIKISHI) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA but at the end, undertaker truly made him famous!! XD
OMFG I have been looking EVERYWHERE for this opening. Now if we can get the recap montage for this same pay-per-view with the same song playing, so INTENSE.
thank u so much for this this is the hottest intro of all time i saw this on a tape that was lended to me a while back when i first got on utube i looked for it but they didn't have it but now u got it what makes this intro the best is all the atomic bombs going off and shit this had to be one the biggest hyped ppv's of all time now i'm going to watch the hell in the cell match thanks alot man i could watch this intro like a million times
Just wait till you see the review montage for this ppv, they add all the action from the cell match in with the explosions and the bombs and just makes the whole ppv so INTENSE, it's an INTENSE montage and can't wait till it's posted.
if you're waiting for me to post it, well.. you will be waiting for ages. 1. didn't see that package, plus 2. deleted 2000 ppv's after this show. so, you will looking for it somewhere else
@wilkesy87 I do believe it was produced by WWF. And up until this PG BS, 'The End' was a tradition for Armageddon. It was ALWAYS used as the song for Armageddon.
yeah, i agree there. but i like this intro alot because it showed how bad the hell in a cell was and having 6 guys in it would mean a whole lot of trouble, which it delivered
