  • 0:17 the great one looks great

  • I used to watch this intro over and over as a kid.

  • @num1Jaysta Same here!

  • EPIC EPICNESS.

  • what is the song???

  • FUCKING AMAZING

  • WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO WRESTLING?

    Jesus.

  • @Romulus123 PG13 and John Cena

  • @Romulus123 Bad Creative Writers, that's about it...

  • @AJ36sXe

I think it's more to do with the company going in a different direction.

  • @Romulus123 Going in a new direction.....more so retracing to the past where they were in the 80s, where it was for the entire family. The current writers have little to know wrestling knowledge, they know more about Hollywood soap operas and that's their specialty. If WWE hired wrestling bookers, then it would be great!

  • @Romulus123 FACT BRO

  • One of the best WWF promos, it would been much better if that stupid female wasn't in it

  • This brings back memories, what a promo!!

  • Where is the stock footage from?

  • The end is here for john cena's wwe contract

  • @86Stooy

10 years. Count it down my lad.

  • its an obvious cover of the Doors song "the end"

  • In 2012 23rd of December i'll play this song. On a street wearing a sign haha I'll let the song tell us our doom haha... Joke people

  • @abSOULuteD Its actually supposed to be the 21st not the 23rd

  • @PhenomsServant4 Oh yea I forgot. Thanx haha

  • the end is near for the wwe pg crap

  • this video brings back alot nostalgia. remember when i was a kid recording it over night from channel 4 then starting it up in the morning with this song. haunting

  • @BFMachine I loved it when it was on Channel 4, always used to tape it in the night then watch it in the morning while getting ready for school haha

  • Is that Victoria in the intro?

  • I think this storyline really has to be praised even more than it is. It was so long and complicated. It started in Nov. of 1999 and ended in say, Feb 2001 or even WM17 in a way. Think about that, you won't see a storyline like this again.

  • 10 years ago! Myhow wrestling has gone down the pan over the last decade.

  • Probably the best openeing and one of the best matches i have ever seen on WWE.

  • @superstar1978 I totally agree!

  • @superstar1978 the raw opening the next day was (in my opinion) even a little better

  • Most of this stock footage ended up in the NWO titantron

  • @zoso7889

and then in the armegaddon 2002 3 stages of hell match between hhh and michaels, but no complains on that, that rivalry and that match was vicious and brutal

  • If Kane or Jericho were in this match instead of Rikishi then it would have been the best ever. Saying that Kane and Jericho had a great Last Man Standing Match on this undercard

  • if this is 2000 it used the johnston remake of sweet home alabama

  • Do you guys remember the promo intro they ran on Raw the following night, with this music but with highlights from the match? That was pretty badass too, I used to rewatch that show on VHS over and over.

  • One of the best intros to a wwe ppv EVER!

  • Unbelievable how well made the intro is.....One of the best matches ever 6 man hell in a cell

  • oh man, the best video package EVER!

  • Nobody does PPV better than the WWF.

THAT'S RIGHT, I SAID WWF. THAT'S NO TYPO.

  • my very first hell in a cell match.....damn was I lucky

  • i loved this story line, if you count it from the moment austin was run down, it ran a year and 3 months. amazing.

  • I always loved this song magnificantly morbid

  • I order this PPV by accident, but overall it was a great PPV!

  • where can i find this song!?

  • @marty34156 You can get the full version of the song on WWE - The Music, Vol. 7. It's available at iTunes.

  • What song?

  • This song is probably too heavy for the kids that watch wwe today. I guess its true that all good things must come to an end and entertaining wrestling has certainly come to an end

  • @stuarachel so has good music good films good shows etc etc

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like Danzig

  • Who plays the song?

  • awesome song

  • Just fucking EPIC!!!!!!!!!

  • hands down THE BEST opening package ever created.

R.I.P The WWE is dancing on your grave.

  • Sucks they don't do the 6 man Hell in a cell no more, guess because of the Elimination Chamber!!!

  • the best opening!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I thank you so much for putting this up, it was the best promo I ever saw for a ppv. God I remember the times when Hell in a Cell matches were quite infrequent and really violent. Now it's just not like that any more, shame. I use to love the WWF ( I refuse to call it WWE ). I was watching WWF religiously from the Royal Rumble of 2000 all the way to Judgement Day 2001. Unfortunately from there I felt that it was going on a big downward spiral. Long live the attitude years, they were fantastic.

  • Unbelievable, they don't do packages that good anymore.

  • i agree i remember watching this armageddon back in 2000 when i was like 11 yrs old and being completely drawn into all of these story lines especially the 6 man hell in a cell angle they had going on sadly wrestling just isnt like these good old days anymore

  • I'm with the people that want to see the edited review package from Armageddon that was shown the night after on Raw.

When I saw that, my ten-year-old mind thought the world was seriously coming to an end or something. It was intense.

  • When will you ever see 5 SUPERSTARS (and rikishi) in a match together like this again? You wont.

  • Yeah I Agree. They should of had the 6 man hell in a cell on the ppv HIAC

  • Shut the fuck up, kid. The HIAC PPV is a bastardization of the HIAC gimmick...HIAC should be only used to finish a heated feud. This one was the only one who broke the pattern, since so many feuds were put together in this match (Rock-Angle, Angle-Taker, Austin-Rikishi, Austin-Triple H, Rock-Rikishi, etc)

  • (and rikishi) lol

  • @TILDEATH876 ya wtf was he even in that main event? Kane would have been better lol

  • Umm, no. Rikishi was getting pushed at the point for a good reason.

  • @soontobe1982 ROFL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA MATE U SAID IT LIKE I WOULD!!! (5 SUPERSTARS AND RIKISHI) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA but at the end, undertaker truly made him famous!! XD

  • @soontobe1982 Every year at Elimination Chamber

  • @soontobe1982 Kish is better than the entire wwe roster today and during 2000 he was one of the most over guys in wwf

  • one of the best storylines of the attitude era and best promos

  • this is a nasty opening promo

  • OMFG I have been looking EVERYWHERE for this opening. Now if we can get the recap montage for this same pay-per-view with the same song playing, so INTENSE.

  • back when they knew how to seel PPV's Have to agree one of the best PPV openings ever done, love it!

  • i been looking for this for i don't know how long

  • ive been looking for tabs for this on the guitar i'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction?

  • i hope silvervision release This ppv as tagged classic DVD maybe with some other PPV

  • Its released in the UK tomorrow in a set with No Way Out 2001

  • that was awesome..i dont think they;; ever top that one

  • thank u so much for this this is the hottest intro of all time i saw this on a tape that was lended to me a while back when i first got on utube i looked for it but they didn't have it but now u got it what makes this intro the best is all the atomic bombs going off and shit this had to be one the biggest hyped ppv's of all time now i'm going to watch the hell in the cell match thanks alot man i could watch this intro like a million times

  • Just wait till you see the review montage for this ppv, they add all the action from the cell match in with the explosions and the bombs and just makes the whole ppv so INTENSE, it's an INTENSE montage and can't wait till it's posted.

  • when u think it will be posted

  • if you're waiting for me to post it, well.. you will be waiting for ages. 1. didn't see that package, plus 2. deleted 2000 ppv's after this show. so, you will looking for it somewhere else

  • Its on the Anthology CD, Disc 3

  • i think the part with hhh is awesome

  • ahh love to get my hands on the this song

  • Comment removed

  • Who sings the song?

  • the song is called 'the end is here' but i don't know who sings it, cause i think its produced by the wwf/e

  • @wilkesy87 I do believe it was produced by WWF. And up until this PG BS, 'The End' was a tradition for Armageddon. It was ALWAYS used as the song for Armageddon.

  • @wilkesy87 is not till 2001 after the SS when the wwf win the winner take all match.

  • @wilkesy87 this sounds an awful lot like The Doors.

  • @wilkesy87 JIm Johnston or something like that remebering touring with wwe that day .

  • @Cidff7 jim johnston wrote and sang this

  • @Cidff7 Jim Johnston. He comes up with most of the WWF/WWE theme songs.

  • @Cidff7 i sing it

  • This ppv was awesome, love the song too.

  • I like some of the intros to the PPVs in recent times (particularly this year's Rumble) but the ones back then were so much more awesome.

  • yeah, i agree there. but i like this intro alot because it showed how bad the hell in a cell was and having 6 guys in it would mean a whole lot of trouble, which it delivered
