è meglio della dual recto il distorto? io nella mia vita ho avuto 13 testate, tra cui una mesa dual recto, e il canale 3 modern/vintage mi ha praticamente fatto ODIARE la serie rectifier...però stavo pensando che forse dovrei provare una roadster o una roadking. cosa ne pensate?
hey man nic eplaying cept for that one riff but it sounded great to me! Im planning on getting a dual rectifier for my schecter c1 hellraiser i think it would sound great! The problem is that i am only 15 and dont have 2k to spend on a brand new mesa but, i might be able to get one cheap used for around 1300 bucks or something.
Dopo che i vicini hanno chiamato la S.W.A.T. per la seconda volta ... =( ahimè sono passato al mio vecchio e caro Marshall Valvestate VS100 con cassa 1x12 MESA...non è la stessa cosa ma cambiando la sua valvola originale 12ax7 Marshall con una MEsa presa dal mio vecchio ADA MP2 ce li fai tranquillamente i Metallica a volume accettabile...Comunque prima o poi la Roadster me la riprendo !!!! Troppo versatile...
I've had a roadster for just over a week and just a half hour ago it stopped working. I was letting it warm up for a bit (maybe 10 minutes) and when I went back to play it it was off. There is no sign of power at all. nothing lights up or warms up. Kinda sucks for me. If you know what the problem might be give me a shout.
gimme your settings i just bought one i cant get rid of the massive boomyness i was gonna switch to el34s im not a huge fan of that tone your playing but it sounds better than what i got mine dialed in at
fuk...man....ive got an orange and a les pauland love vintage woody crunch from them...Very paul kossoff late 70s....but......now i just bought a jackson dkmgt too....and i think i need a mesa boogie instead...wish i could have both in 1 box
Decisamente migliorato !!! anche se dal mio punto di vista contro il mio interesse il migliore pulito in assoluto alla James Hetfield di Master Of Puppets lo trovi nelle vecchie MEsa Sngle rectifier....

credo che dovrò provarlo il più presto possibile! sono nel dubbio nel caso mi dovessi comprare un mesa fra il roadster e il dual rectifier solo head...suonano entrambi benissimo distorti, il roadster ha un pulito più bello ma come ampli non ha il CARATTERE del dual rectifier "semplice"...
...allora diciamo innanzitutto che tutto dipende da che suono e che genere vuoi fare... ossia per intenderci se vuoi i Metallica prenditi una Dual Rectifier vecchio modello 2 canali o una single rettifier...ma devi tirare giù i muri di casa..altrimenti con la Roadster riesci a volumi "umani" a fare un po' di tutto...ripeto dipende dai tuoi "gusti" musicali
allora premettendo che io non compro un mezzo stack per suonare n casa,vorrei riuscire a suonare di tutto,dal rock più classico all hard 'n' heavy al thrash con tutti i passaggi intermedi.logicamente farei anche ballate (alla fade to black ;) ),comunque punterei soprattutto sul suono trademark della mesa,canale rosso modern.pensavo quindi al dual recto 3 canali:ottimo suono modern ma anche canale arancione per roba più classica. Mi macherebbe un clean come si deve però...
It sounds much tighter then my solo head, even with my switching to EL-34's. I think I might buy either a Splawn nitro, or any VHT. I have yet to play a Nitro, but I have played a VHT pittbull, and there are no words for that amp.
Hey mate, haven't seen you on the ESP forums for a long time. You should try it with a Stiletto cab, I definitely prefer it to the Rectifier cabs. After all, MoP sounds better thru a Stilleto cab... :p
Yo man I've been thinking about buying a Roadster I wanted to know are they $2000 brand new or higher? Thanks alot. And also do you find the distortion muddy at all? And how does this amp compare with say the Peavey 6505 purely on a distortion basis. Not channels, or featurs. Thank you very much.

sweet amp i want! but if your going to play a cover you should at least learn the riff. nothing sounds more amature than playing a cover wrong.

It's definitely different to the 6505, you should try the Roadster and 6505 in stereo, they blend together very well...
As for the price, I ain't sure what it costs in the US, I bought mine in Australia, as I live in Ozland obviously...
And no, the distortion isn't muddy...
