how is the responsiveness on the touch-area for settings? I just got mine and I'm having major trouble getting it to respond to my touch, it takes forever. Is this abnormal?

@beyond9001 I have the MS238H and find the buttons to be meh. Don't really use them after setting things up, but when I was setting it up I found it quite frustrating.

Hey mr stuzu very helpful video :) I just bought one. A question though. Does the audio work on VGA too or do you have your xbox hooked up to its own sound? Because on the product description it said that the 3.5 mm headphone audio input was only for hdmi. Just wondering.

Can someone plz post a recomendation of how to calibrate or set the monitor...My room have two long white flouresent light, it's kinda bright, but not too bright. Thank you all so much in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx again all...

@indeed2807 I prefer playing on Standard, with 100%brightness, 100%contrast, Warm color, Smart View off,...trace free 100, overscan aspect control and ASCR off- during most times of day- usually turn the brightness down a bit at night though. Try that out.

@MrStuzu 100% brightness??? You are insane. Even at 50% brightness, most of these LED monitors make my eyes bleed.

Btw, is this matte or glossy screen?

Hi, I'm thinking on purchasing this monitor, but I will use it as a secondary monitor for my laptop and will put it over a stand that it's like 4 inches tall and wondering if it has the enough tilt to actually "see" the display from my chair. Thanks so much for your feedback!!

I bought this monitor also and the only gripe that i have is the default color settings, but when you properly adjust the calibration it looks stunning!!

I would like to do a input lag test but unfortunately im missing a crt monitor :(

@doomtrain6 I've been getting OCD lately about the settings on it. What exactly do you find to be the best/ most accurate color setting on which mode. I usually just end up setting it back to sRGB. But at times i like using Theater mode at 100 contrast, 55 saturation, normal color temp, and natural skin tone. Or standard mode at warm color temp and high contrast+brightness.

@MrStuzu currently sRGB with hdmi to dvi, sometimes i use Theater mode and adjust the settings according to Windows 7 calibration: Brightness 88 Contrast 90 Saturation 75 Skin tone Natural Sharpness 100 Trace Free 80 Color Temp User Mode R 100 G 100 B 100 Remember this settings depends on your room, light ambiance, etc

One quick question before I buy this monitor. Does it come with a VESA bolt pattern in back for wall mounting? (Four hole type things that make up a square or rectangle)?

@Vyris35 nope there is no VESA mount unfortunately- it's extremely light so you could rig it up with something- although the plugs in the back all go in horizontally( that may be an issue)

I was wondering the same thing. Its a very difficult thing to find info on this topic, but I was able to come to the conclusion that there is NO VESA mount pattern on the back. Its very disappointing. I cant figure out why they would leave that out, but because they did, I have no use for this monitor. Its such a great deal, but I need that vesa pattern!!

thanks for this video. I was searching for this model but finally found your video from the related videos on asus's channel. along with you, i saw the awkward angle on the ms series in the store and decided against it. I think you should change your title so there is no spacing in the model # so others can find it too.
