I can't believe whoever took out the six dummy rounds from the revolver didn't notice only five of them had a lead tip and the other was missing. Is that hard to notice, considering you started out with six rounds with lead tips and came out with five?

@retrofann, neither do I. It's tragic to have lost these great martial artists. Bruce was the best I've ever seen. He accomplished so much in so little time.

What exactly is the mystery here? Bruce Lee's ability to bend his body to his will was near-godlike, but in the end he was only a man and could die from a mundane illness just like anybody else. And his son died because some stupid cheapass stunt coordinator let his crew play around with real ammunition. It doesn't do them justice to get into any oogie-boogie curses and supernatural crap.

@logik316 - The funny thing about it, in 'Game of Death' (1979), Bruce Lee's double (Bruce died while filming) in the film was shot and was planned to be murdered by a syndicate. I find it ironic that is how Brandon Lee died. With the exception of the syndicate...

Well, Kennedy was shot while riding in a Ford, and Lincoln was shot while sitting in Ford's theater. Unless there's some proof that Brandon crossed paths with the same criminal organization who shot Lee's stunt double, I just don't see any real connection anywhere.

I would say it's interesting, but not funny. The film crew was investigated after Brandon Lee was killed, but nobody was ever found guilty of anything. That bothers me. I hope that at least some laws have been passed banning live ammo from being used in movies, so that it can't happen again.

I've worked in a theater. Movie sets have their dangers. People want their entertainment, and they don't particularly care how it's brought to them. Naturally, the workers involved sometimes put the importance of getting a good show done on time and on budget ahead of silly little concepts like job safety.

@logik316, It was a freak accident, no doubt. It really threw me when it happened. I used "funny" for lack of a better term. I found it interesting as well. @ any rate, in the end Linda Lee lose both her husband and son. Sad.

You got a point about these cheap ass production studios, though. I've heard stories of how actors safety is jeopardized to cut corners, and meet deadlines. That's pathetic. Especially, like you also noted that no one was brought to justice...leaving that open window
