  • definitely go to see the baths of caracalla. massive and very cool.

  • You should also try to do a gasthaus/pension ("guest house" - like a b&b).

A little more expensive , not by much, and you usually get your own room.

They are usually run by a family, so it's a much more personal experience.

  • ur on a roll! I actually had no idea hostels existed, so thank you for sharing that...it seems like a nice way to save money. can you also include any tips or recommendations in your videos for travelers.

  • Rome kicks ass dude. I've been there a few times on vacation, and actually found a $6,000 Breitling watch in my hotel room. That was sweet. Oh, and the Swiss Guards (Vatican Security) love it when you speak in Latin. Just don't scoff at their outfits. Only hardcore Mother F***ers get to wear it.

  • pompei is in Naples, and omg are you in the MJ hostel near the central rial station? xx

  • i did rome this summer! x

  • why dont you take me with you on your next trip! haha

  • haha i love the puppies sweaters!

  • Careful in Italy its kinda flooded right now. You could come to Malta too its like an hour flight from Rome. Plenty of history! TC :O)

  • don,t you miss phil when your gone

  • If you decide to go up to Florence at any point: go visit Bondi Gelateria. The owner's name is Tulio and he's such a character, and speaks great English. And the gelato: best I've ever had.

  • Have fun Linz. Rome sounds cool.

  • Your next country needs to be Greece!!!!! It's soo amazing!!

  • GO TO FIRENZE!!!! You might even want to check out the Cinque Terre area since I know you are into hiking and depending on the weather you could possibly lay out on the beach.

  • yay!

  • And Positano! stay at the SEVEN HOSTEL in Sorrento, it's amazing :)

  • @pacopup i definitely stayed at the Seven Hostel over this summer and it was the best hostel I experienced while being abroad

  • go to FLORENCE! :)

  • we tried doing a blog like this when we went to australia with our @projectdynamite channel for a month. trying to find internet is IMPOSSIBLE! o man it was hell - but it was super fun to do - can't wait to see more of these.

  • rome is soo much fun! get some gelato's while your there :D

  • The pope's bum?? :P

  • I don't know if its your "thing" to travel with a group but I have a group going to Barcelona in March (all adults) and a group to Paris in Feb. (Some adults some teens). I own a travel agency

  • I don't know if its your "thing" to travel with a group but I have a group going to Barcelona in March (all adults) and a group to Paris in Feb. (Some adults some teens). I own a travel agency

  • If you go near the Trevi Fountain go to Harry's Bar and look through the circular window in the floor, it shows ancient ruins of part of the water system of the Trevi, if you want to go in the ruins you should walk out the door turn right then right again and you will be at the "museum" entrance. Also I don't know if its your "thing" to travel with a group but I have a group going to Barcelona in March (all adults) and a group to Paris in Feb. (Some adults some teens). I own a travel agency

  • a girl thats "comfortable" in her relationship... time to bounce phil

  • how exactly do you pay for all these trips :0, i always wanted to travel the world and make videos but you see i'm not so rich :/

  • Take the commuter train to Ostia Antica -- fascinating Roman settlement ruins that you can walk on and through -- for a lot less than Pompeii.

  • I saw a girl who looked just like you today! She was super cool.

  • a;lsdkfja;sldkfjcna;sldkjflsdkjfffff YOU ARE TOO FREEEEKING CUTE.

  • If you weren't just in Rome, I'd say visit Capri. It's a city not too far from Naples.

My sister visited it and said it was gorgeous!

  • who doesn't want to go travel the world and make videos?

  • Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piaza Navona, Spanish Steps and shopping nearby. The neighborhood Trestavere. The club scene in Testaccio. The Uffizi gallery in Florence. Enjoy!

  • You should check out the Capuchin Bone Chapel (Church of the Bones) beneath the church of Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini on the Via Veneto near Piazza Barberini

  • Make the videos there, but just upload them when you get home, that way the excitement doesnt go away plus you can upload them when you want

  • I think she meant unlock her iPhone =P

Go to the colosseum if you have time

  • Hey themredweirdoshow recalculate you math. There are less then 7 billion ppl who live in the world.

Linzloves, good luck with your dream, however I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

  • Uh, "making a living" by using a video camera when you go on vacations?! Better rethink that one. There are already 800 billion people all over the world doing the exact same thing... and uploading them to the public for FREE.

  • @themredweirdoshow do you actually think there are 800 billion people in the world? damn...

  • @themredweirdoshow Who werre you talking to? Liz is uploading them to the public for FREE. Some other entity is deciding whether she gets paid or not, why would you care?

  • @themredweirdoshow 800 billion? LOL!! Close... just almost 7 billion :P Btw, not everyone on this planet has a video camera. Even less are those who actually take the time to record their trips around the world.

  • @themredweirdoshow yeah, her videos are free as well. but if she is a Youtube partner, she makes money from our views.

  • @themredweirdoshow 800 billion, wow that's a lot.

  • @themredweirdoshow your ignorance has just made us all dumber, congratulations.

  • Is it bad that i already call you mrs. defranco XD lol

  • be careful !

  • Don't forget to geocache in Rome!

  • Colleseum!

  • your relationship with Phil is wonderful, I want to find a relationship like that!

  • Where is your upper lip?

  • I think you need not to go away like that. Phil is gonna leave ya. Stay in the Kitchen and take care of him

  • Can I just say, why didn't you go to Italy when you were in the UK??????

To me it sounds like a huge waste of money,to go from London to Rome is only an hour flight ,if that and it would've been cheaper. It seems to me like you've wasted a lot of money travelling this way. You must be raking in the cash. I don't mean to hate but can you please explain your logic in doing this and how you justify it??????

  • @miles2057 1. She's probably been home a little longer than we think.

    2. She probably can't just pack up and go away for a year to tour the world when she's got a boyfriend and life in Venice.

    3. It's not like it's costing us anything... so I don't understand why you're hating on her decisions. It's really not a big deal.

  • Largo Argentina! You should also go to the Trastevere. It's the most Roman part of Rome (like, where the real Italians are).

  • go to my cousins restaurant

marios he makes da best pizza

  • Off the top of my head my favorite place in the city was the Pantheon and the whole Spanish Steps area. Lots of great, great restaurants and places to hang out. Campo di fiore is where a lot of abroad students go to hang out. But my favorite site was Ostia Antica a few miles outside of Rome. It's an old port city. I don't know if it would be as fun without a guide though.

  • Is this sxephils GF? o.o

  • @mycatis10 Yes, she is.

  • @mycatis10 yes. yes it is.

  • @mycatis10 no.

  • @mycatis10 no

  • @mycatis10 yeah that's sxephil's gf

  • @mycatis10 What do you think she was talking about in the beginning??...

  • @mycatis10 Yeppers. She is. I think...three years? About? Probably more now.

  • @mycatis10 yes

  • :) aw i like your travel videos

  • One more thing, go to the Trevi fountain. Turn your back to the fountain and throw in 3 coins, making your own wish of whatever you want for the first 2, the on the 3rd wish to come back to Rome. Another thing, go in any church you find...the door may look plain on the outside but they are all beautiful on the inside. There are also some hotels, like the Rtiz (I think that was the name), that used to palaces of religious figures. The Ritz's lounge used to be a courtyard of a palace!

  • dont forget to bring long legwear to the vatican

  • The best place to go is where your instinc guide you to go... this is the only one that never fail fo watch your back and do for the best. Trust that!

  • none of your london videos came out in my subscription

  • Wow, I just went to Rome this summer! Have a great time! Hopefully you won't have a bunch of people selling you stuff because it's not tourist season but watch out for people trying to scam you. When I went there a guy was dressed up like a Roman soldier and we asked if we could take a picture with him...after he charged us 10 Euros, when he didn't even say anything about money before.

  • get some new lipgloss...

  • go to Greece its way better then Italy.

  • HOLD THE FORT, NOT HOLD DOWN THE FORT!

  • @ekotar1 nerdfighter?

  • these are really good :)

  • you got more hot after the flight :) Lol

  • Stolen bike? Sounds like a COOON!

  • Power naps with jet lag don't work, ur gonna wake up 13 hours later.

  • you make me smile

  • I don't know how much money you can make while traveling I mean but good luck! Make sure you're making enough while traveling to like cover living and airplane costs and stuff. Best wishes Linz!

  • transformation to linz(hot girl mode) at 4:32

  • why do you torture your dogs by putting clothes on them. its so mean. they dont like it. But on a side note its awesome that you are going to rome. i look forward to your videos.

  • @Sammu3lP

We have a small dog who actually loves his sweater because it keeps him warm when he goes outside. If you hold the thing up in front of him he gets excited and tries to dive it in.

  • @Sammu3lP How the fuck do you know what they like? there have been no real studes of this. my dogs go bring the cloth to me and they want to wear them, shut up you ignorant noob.

  • @dannes22 ingenious use of the word noob

  • @icedalive Thank you, but thats not the point, I just dont like ignorant people, really hate them. Live long and prosper.

  • @dannes22 umad?

  • Uh Rome is amazing, I tell ya! were there last year and it was absolutely awesome!

And their pubcrawls are great ;) - have a good trip

  • go to an italian theater and watch a movie!

  • Oh and go to Florence, visit the museums and see Michelangelo's David...and if you can you should try to go to Venice. Florence is awesome though in itself :D

  • you should go to the trevi fountain and the colosseum and stuff of course, pretty touristy spots but i think especially the trevi fountain is pretty cool to see...eat lots of gelato too! :D

  • You are one lucky lady i want to travel the world for a living too :(

  • ahhhh, why put clothes on pets?!?!! >.<

  • When is Phil going to propose!!?

  • The Spanish Steps. Maybe I'm a bit biased because that's where my boyfriend and I kissed for the first time. <3

And St. Peter's Basilica is amazing, almost had to cry when I was there, so beautiful, but you gotta be there early, otherwise you'll have to wait for hours.

  • My car was broken into yesterday D:

  • you shouldn't tell jail brake on youtube.

  • @aiaek why? it's legal.

  • good luck your trip.

  • why are you staying in hostels and not hotels?

  • I miss being in Rome so bad!!

It's the most beautiful city in the world :)

  • I was in Rome almost exactly a year ago and there are two things that I absolutly loved, first off, you HAVE to try Gelato it is the best thing in the world!!! I miss it still to this day. And secondly, people watching at the Trevi Fountain is a hillariously awesome experience. Those to things I believe are a must.

  • you look sooooo gorgeous with your hair down, and up. but mostly down =]

  • cool linz!

Ive always wanted to go to Italy, such a gorgeous country and the food is awesome :D

  • I just came back from Rome. I could have shown you round. Go to the Trevi fountain and the Colosseum (obviously). They look even cooler lit up at night! Thumbs Up So She Sees this!

  • Why do you always stay in a hostel >.> I would die living with strangers.

  • ur hot but shut up lol

  • @kerpail maybe if you voted for mccain she would

  • do you do all the planning yourself? book your own flight and hostel or do you get someone else to do it for you?

  • I love italy! Its so beautiful... i love it there so jealous. You should go to Piazza Navona, The Pantheon and if you want to go high end shopping Via Condotti, its a street with ALL designer stores

  • @SomeSortOfVoice Yeah I know I just came back to England. The Piazza Navona Is great isn't it!!!

  • @theDonaldducktv isn't that like the film when in Rome and when you chuck a coin in it and when someone picks it up you immediately love them?

  • I'm goin to rome in december!

  • I loved that fountain in Rome but i cant remember its name,, its pretty famous and there's a myth that goes with it :)

  • the dogs probably thinking "i soooooo hate u" but who knows

  • When you're at the Colosseum, don't let the men in costume take your picture. They offer but then charge 10 Euro per person, even though the picture is on your camera! And they didn't even take a picture on mine! They took a stupid video!

  • I went in the spring time, but by the Spanish Steps there were a ton of artists selling their work. I love street artists, not to mention they are an amazing people watching spot that is FREE!

  • make sure you get gelatto!

  • LINZ!!! If you get a chance, you absolutely HAVE to take a day or two to go out to Florence! They have the absolute best shopping district I have ever been to. I walked into a leather jacket shop and haggled the guy down from 470 euro to 110 euro. I payed less for a beautiful Italian leather jacket than I ever would for a cheap American leather jacket.

For the Vatican, go with Romaround Tours. When I went over the summer, they were nicest people in the world. Ask for Mark Anthony. No joke.

  • X3 I liked your London vlogs so far. HAVE FUN!

  • I Travelled around Italy in the summer. It was amazing but SO hot and SO packed full of people. I love Rome but my experience there wasn't a good one, it was just too crowded but I can't wait to see what it's like this time of year :) have fun!!:)

  • I've wanted to go to Italy since I've been a little girl. I absolutely can not wait until I get the money to do what you're doing and travel. I'm glad you're vlogging and bringing us along. :)

  • by all means, PLEASE have a hand on your wallet if your takeing the bus or the subway! seriously!

  • what happened to interior decorating being your passion / what you want to do?

either way have tons of fun and stay safe!!!

  • i hope you get up at like 5 am to go to the vatican because otherwise you will be waiting in line most of your day. People start arriving at dawn. But I went in summer so it might be a little less crowded.

  • sweet you will be close to me - Slovenia, Ljubljana

  • Definitely go to Venice. It's amazing and beautiful there :)

  • "travel for a living"???? ummmm....last time i checked u pay to travel not "get paid" to travel. income source?

  • the Vatican isn't part of Rome its its own country

  • so since it seems your never around phil just go ahead and leave him and then we can get together

  • @travis6240 who do you think pays for all this

  • @jellybeansies if she was with me then i would

  • congrats on being on my sub box for so long..that almost never happens

  • Since when is Pompei in Rome? ;-)

  • why do you always have roommates when you travel? is it cheaper or something?

  • @evonnasykes hostels dude, cheap as heck!

  • @evonnasykes I think she stays in hostels, and yes, very cheap!

  • For obvious reasons, the view is more impressive on clear days or you can go to Protestant cemetery in Rome is a surprisingly pleasant spot to escape from the noise and chaos of the city for a couple of hours

  • There is an ordinary-looking green door at the top of the hill - if you go during high tourist season there are bound to be some tourists hanging around – and the keyhole itself is rather small, but you’ll get a perfectly-framed, unobstructed view of the cupola, or dome, of St. Peter’s basilica.

  • Go high up on the Aventine hill, just a minute’s walk from the beautiful Parco Degli Aranci, which features one of the most breathtaking views of Rome, the keyhole can be difficult to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

  • rome was too much! go to Florence!

  • Have fun in Rome!

  • What, does Phil not edit his own videos?

  • What a coincidence. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood comes out in a few days :D

    (It takes place in Rome)

  • Leave ur hair like the end :DDD looks Amazzing :D

  • You're gorgeous

  • make sure to go to montepulciano.

  • wow i wish i had the money to travel like that =)

    have fun lindsey!!!
