@cloudkudmagic you are wrong, the F does not stands for flagship on the ISF, it represents Fuji speedway where it was tested and the F took the shape of the Fuji speedway track. The only flagship Lexus' are the LS models. FYI

First of all, I own one. Second, I've done my homework. Third, I know the designer of this sportscar. I also own numerous other sports cars. "PLURAL". -- not to bash or anything as I'm not here for that. But... it does stand for "Flagship" (F-1). To each their own and think as you please. I think it also stand for: "Fun" , "Fast" , "Fascinating", on & on. lol - They "tested" it on the "Fuji" raceway track in Japan. (i was there for post-trials), so "most" people like yourself think the same...

i mean i wash them and go for a 3 mile drive come back and its covered in brake dust litteraly. what eles, humm cant really think of anything eles. But even with all this the car sounds so sweet. everytime i go start it up in the morning it roars like a beast. OH yea reminds me when the car is cold the sound is awesome, but once you heat it up the damn car gets too quiet like a regular lexus damnit, unless you push it of course.

I already have chips and well i have less than 300 miles on my car. the wheels are nice color but since they are dark grey once you get a chip it stands out like a sore thumb. Also the brakes on this car bit nicely, but produces too much DAMN BRAKE DUST!

The car just won me over with its power and noise that i didnt realize the ride is a bit harsh. Also the leather in the car is TOO DAMN SOFT! you sit in it the wrong way and it makes wrinkles everwhere!! damnit and also since the leather is so soft the seat bottoms come up and dont flatten out when you sit in it. Not practical in any way. The wheels are way to DAMN EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE, $2200 a wheel.

and yes in auto mode the car uses all its gears. when you hit over 45mph it uses all 8 gears. The ride is crisp,and the steering is stiff and very communicative. But the ride for everyday driving is a bit harsh,alot more bumpy that i expected.

@Toyota4Life How about Infiniti M56x? Or maybe a IPL G, which soon will have Mercedes's AMG engine in it. Other than the F and LS, all Lexus cars make you do is fall asleep. The IS250 only has 205hp, while the G37 has 330hp!

@brady516 There is NO infiniti that can out perform the IS-F. NO Infiniti that can match the LFA. No infiniti has better quality then the LS. Now Lexus is working the GS F-Sport and the GS-F which could have 550hp.

Inifiniti has nothing on Lexus. Period.

@Toyota4Life Well, generally, in the past ten years, Infiniti has had the most powerful Japanese luxury cars. And I think if you added up all the horsepower these companies had in their lineup, the one with the highest average would be Infiniti. Saying that Infiniti's base model cars have had almost 300hp since 03, and to this day Lexus and Acura base model cars arn't even close to 300hp. Not to mention Acura seems to be scared of RWD, and still makes all their cars with FWD.

@Toyota4Life Also, not to mention the LFA is largely designed and engineered by the Toyota head staff, so in that sense you could add in the GT-R, which would destroy almost any car in the corners. Not to mention that the LFA is almost four times as expensive as the GT-R. Top Gear went straight forward and said that other than the LFA, Lexus just make you want to fall asleep. Then there is also the Essence...
