  • @purplejumpergirl So a horse is only pretty if it also has good conformation and movement? I do agree that those things are important, but some horses just are pretty even if they aren't good for anything else. This mare was an awesome trail horse, by the way, but had to be retired prematurely.

  • ahaha that is pretty freaking adorable. :P

  • Some gaited horses either don't know how to canter or don't know how to gallop, so that's probably why. Cute horse!

  • ok people read the descripition she said she was cantering cause thats as fast as the horse would go anyways that was an excellent canter and beautiful horse

  • Ha. Thats cute. It's like my Appaloosa mare. Only she won't go any faster than a trot no matter how hard you try to make her... Kinda depressing at times, but she's soooo bombproof I wouldn't trade her for anything :)

  • AWW THATS ADORIBLE!!

  • haha at one point that was canter with front legs, trot with back legs :D

  • Why Are People Going Thats A Canter Not A Gallop When You Said You Know Its Not A Gallop Haha..Dont People Read :)

  • @NeeveSonnieLover lol, I'm really finding out that they don't! =D

  • @moodysoup Actually, many do canter and gallop just fine. My other walking horse has an awesome canter and a fast gallop.

  • Aw that was a good canter. She is a cutey. I've seen a TW or two look alot like that. Their strong point is the other stuff. Nice video

  • i laughed sorry

  • read the description dumass!

  • stupid people that obviously can't read: stop saying this is not gallop! she knwz!

  • Beautiful horse you have there, even if she does have a funny canter!

  • Im laughing..

  • that wasnt so bad! I mean it was cute and funny!

  • wow people stop saying it was a canter ..obviously she knows!!!!!

  • she was trying to make the horse gallop! daaaa! (stupids)

  • that wasn't gallop :\

    it's a normal canter..., not even a fast canter ! =\

  • read the comment

  • NO SHIT!

    she knows that read description

  • learn how to read a description she said that her horse wouldnt go any faster

  • is it common the am. gaited horses have "troubles" cantering and galloping? I see comments as "he can even canter and gallop!" And it's quite fun how you want the head shaking while here it's "supposed to" be as still as possible. Though it's maybe not possible to compare these horses with our icelandic, the only gaited horse in sweden. (well we might have 5 or 6 ASB's too)

  • We have a number of different gaited breeds in the U.S., and they all move different - some shake their heads, some don't.

  • @AnetteAronsson88 some Walking horses seem to have trouble cantering and galloping, but not all. Some of what passes for a "canter" in the show ring I wish they just wouldnt do. I don't show, so take it for what it's worth, but the good using Walking horses I've known shook their heads when they did a true running walk, which is getting rarer, it seems like :( My mothers walking horse has a beautiful gallop, true canter and a tidy jump, to boot

  • @AnetteAronsson88

yes its very common. Also cart raching horses have that problem.

  • @AnetteAronsson88 ummm ealkers are famous for their canter and gallop

  • @AnetteAronsson88 lots of gaited horses move differently but the most largest of the gaited horse breeds have head nod. The head nod is a movement to counteract/ balance there "running walk" If you do a search for TWH running walk you can watch there head move in time with there foot fall. Also it is not harder for gaited horses to canter or gallop, in fact its actually easier. My twh trail horse loves to gallop and if he could be on a track racing he would much rather be doing that.

  • horse didnt hav much space 2 get the speed up, but she doesnt really look so interested in galloping lol

  • Hahaha. "Is that a gallop?" "Yep" xD

  • haha aww! thats so cute XD

  • If you know it's not a gallop why'd you tell the lady it was?

  • ahaah.

    aawhh, bless.

My horse tessa was broken in western, so never used to want to go any faster than a medium canter, and that was hard work :L:L

But she is so forward going now :D

Oh and for the people who are saying " that's not a gallop, it's a canter"

    Well, it's pretty obvious it's a canter.

    It's not rocket science.

    It's a joke (Y)

    btw, is this your horse??

    xx

  • @breydonsilver Yes, she was mine. Since then I had to retire her prematurely and gave her to someone else who would keep her as a pasture pet.

  • That is a lope.....

  • hmm wonder why they r called walking horses lol pretty mare lucky thing

  • @phatponies They are called Walking Horse because of their running walk, a smooth intermediate gait.

  • That's so cute. She has the most lovely gallop, even thought it is more of a lope!

    <3

  • bet if you got that horse in an open field with some freinds and went for a gallop, you'd see a whole new gear!!! lovely horse!!!, nice riding x x x

  • The Stables101

Its called a joke lol, she was trying to get over that this is how fast this horse goes lol

  • I know a lot of people that would love to have a horse that galloped this slow!! Heck, I wouldn't even mind to have her! (As long as I got another horse for speed :P)

    Gorgeous horse!!

  • is she a Tennessee walker? they're gait is like that

  • thats a canter my dear its pretty obvious

  • I know.

  • SHE WAZ JKING

    READ INFO

  • @TheStables101 did you not read her description?? she was only joking

  • i agree canter the gallop is more faster than this:p

  • Not for this mare - this is about as fast as she goes.

  • funny:))

  • i can't help but laughing!!!

  • thats so meen that ur parents are laughing at u ona horse

  • What a cute mare! It's so nice to see a walker having fun with her rider, and none of that big lick BS. Looks like a nice enough little canter to me! And she has a lovely head shake!

  • Thats a canter not a gallop

  • Well that was a canter not a gallop haha but my dad thinks that a canter is a gallop. I tried to show him the difference when i was riding my horse but he insists they are the same...oh well..

  • haha same as mine

  • actually it was a lope.

  • haha you gotta love the gaited horses!

its so funny to try to canter a stb. its like a 4 beat jumbled mess!

  • she reminds me of a horse i rode named tammy the other horses could keep up with her canter in a collected trot.... and i never saw her gallop.... she is too lazy she just extends her canter a little and will not go any faster

  • i have a registered Walking Horse and he has a fast gallop but he is stell the slowest horse i have when it comes to the gallop

  • haha thats like my horse too!

  • LOL Very cute video, it totally made me smile =) You two chattin' back and fourth reminds me of when i used to board my horses, and how much fun it was to be around other riders =)

Having my horses in my backyard is great, but there's no fellowship!

Beautiful mare, she is very well taken care of!

  • thats so cute we have a horse and thats all he will go lol we never let him gallop so he stuck with being slow

  • haha my horse is the same speed.

  • aaww cute!!!

  • omg i have twh and he is like a thoughbred it is so funny cause he thinks he is

  • Yeah, I don't think she could beat Seabiscuit, but she's still a pretty horse.

  • HEHE. Don't feel bad. My Appy can't go very fast. I can kick, smack, whip, yell, hiss, anything and she still has this really slow canter. There go my dreams of barrel racing.

  • hahahahahahahaha xD the icelandic i ride can pace, trot and tôlt, but she can gallop too xD

  • Sorry, but the laugh from the women who filmed this is really funny, mamkes me laugh too :'D

I really like the horse though.

  • yeeehaaw!

  • Haha LOL. My horse is the total oppisote!!! My horse gallops and canters like a race horse. When i gallop on him i can barely catch a glimps of trees and stuff rushing behind me

  • The woman who films this is really funny :P

  • "Good thing she'd not a race horse!" LOL!!! but its not that fuuny....

  • lmao shes well sloww :P

  • HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA ,HA, no affence

  • shes looks really nice ;)

  • haha the person talking who was taking the video made me laugh so hard! they sound like one of those people who you can just be with for an afternoon and burn all your daily calories laughing with them! haha wonderful!

  • there is a pony at my barn that wont canter, he tranters(NOT A GAIT) His front feet canter and his back trot.

  • Com on that was not a gallop.

  • at 0:07 that isn't a gallop it is a pace!

  • looks like a western lope

  • If she really was a race horse... O_o

  • lmao that's like my TWH Rocket. He refuses to canter unless he absolutely HAS to.

  • why shall we not laugh? The woman how was holding the Cam was laughing too! thats unfair xD

  • looks like shes cantering! lol nice horse

  • lol

  • i have a ex standardbred pacer who does that it is like a pacing canter!

  • that is so cute!

  • walking horses CAN gallop faster then that...if you know how to ask them!

  • are you sure thats not a canter? a gallop is the only gate when a horse has all 4 legs off the ground at one point..she didnt?

  • I bet she could really run if she had to.
