I got three stars on 50cc and 100cc, but damn, 150cc is kicking my butt all over the place! The most I get is 2 stars ... I play a lot like you, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong ...
I know... if you made a mistake you need to repeat the dang cup. Maybe you did some things that affected your star ranking like; if you fall from the road, taking an off-road, hit the walls, get 2nd/3rd on one cup, or if you don't finish a long course within 5-7secs faster than the CPUs (except the small courses like Mario Circuit/Luigi Circuit).
Luigi Circuit believe it or not, is my worst track. I get so mad at it. Lol! What's the best character and kart/bike to use for getting stars? I normally use Toadette with the Magikruiser.
Lol Luigi Circuit was my favorite XD but it's a worse choice because you can lose because of the Blue Shell and some annoying items. My friend also like Toaddete XD but she isn't really fast but it's vary, cuz all character are good on any course cuz of the items, but if you really want a faster character then choose Daisy(Mach Bike) /Funky Kong (Flame Runner) cuz most Pro I played with use those. I got all course with 3 star using Waluigi (my favorite character) lol XD.
I started using Daisy with the Mach Bike last night. It's a good bike even though the acceleration is bad. Lol! I have one more cup to get 3 stars in, in 150 cc, and that's the Mushroom Cup ... which is my worst cup! One being Luigi Circuit and the other Mushroom Grove, I not sure why, but those tracks hate me. Anyhoo, thanks for the tips!
That's true, Mach Bike is pretty slow but it has good Drifting so you can make turns easily with it. The Mushroom Cup needs luck cuz it depends on how the CPU use random items, and Mushroom Gorge is my worse lol hate those jumping mushroom when there's some CPU around you. And no problem.
Well I FINALLY got three stars on the Mushroom Cup on 150 cc. Lol! I only have four to go on Mirrior Cup ... Mushroom Cup included ... But I did get the Special Cup and the Star Cup in one shot! Mushroom Gorge can be a pain. I have the problem of getting blue shelled, POW, or lightning off the bouncy mushrooms!
Good for you =P and yeah, the Cups that looks hard are the easiest one while the one looks easy are the hardest. That's why I hate Mushroom Gorge, those type of items makes you fail to get 3 star =[.

Nah, Yoshi isn't my favorite character, I used Waluigi a lot than him. And people use Yoshi because he sounds pretty cool when he talks while racing.
