@swiv2d because plasma has more input lag, your background would burn in, and bigger isn't always better when gaming. it's all about the pixel density.

I'm considering buying this monitor for playing competative HALO:REACH (on XBOX360) and my only demands are low response time (<5 ms) and low input-lag (i.e. having a GAME-mode). I've heard this monitor meets those demands, but I've also heard a nasty rumour saying there's a black line around the screen when using HDMI. Is this correct? And is this truly the best 21.5''-22'' screen money can buy?

Nice video. I have the Alienware OptX AW2210 as well, but personally I would only recommend Alienware if you're extremely fussy about quality(like me) or are made of money. There is barely any difference though, there are better monitors than this.

That monitor sucks bad, even the new one, compared to IPS + wide gamut monitors, so much that ANYONE even a little blind would get terribly annoyed seeing them both together.

S-IPS>H-IPS>e-IPS>LED>TN (kinda all monitors u see are tn)

The last time I went on the official site they had 2 more of the same monitors but with higher resolution one was 24 inches with 1920x1200 resolution and the other one was 30 inches with
