I think it would be easier to just simply throw a rope over a tree branch or light post and hoist them up by the neck. It might take a little longer for them to die, but it would be cleaner and you wouldn't have to lug the equipment around.
May I suggest starting with the pimps and whores of the media networks, then the politicians.
Keep in mind, the mercenary's will protect them, plus many mafia+drug lords who are protected by the governments that do business with one another.
