I went to sunday school as a kid and was taught about forgiving and accepting your fellow man, then I see this is not christian doctrine, and I wonder.... Im not godly, I'm not perfect, I'm not infallible. But I am you. It is a good feeling to believe your perfection/imperfection is a result of your god, and this may be why so many embace the idea of faith. But please dont let your belief stifle the progression of humankind.... we have so much to give, and ask nothing in return. peace.....

If only more Christians truly studied the Bible (that would require that they know what it means to actually study a book of so many mixed sources and authors) they would be aware that what they are told about Christ is largely attributed to authors from later periods who had their own agendas as do all humans with a mission or a message. It's hard to think for yourself, it's hard not to be an idiot, just try, it's rewarding! You've no business telling anyone about the afterlife! Pathetic!

I believe in God and completely agree with this. Here in the Bible Belt in Virginia, almost everyone proclaims to be a Christian but few ' walk the walk.'

To what point does it stop and you say to yourself my reasoning is so indelible to religous service that my concept of myself is so overwritten by things to which understanding has no value and you cannot even talk a purpose in reigns of world curioity at getting reasoning understood through science and resolve takes a back seat.
