no offense, but VK sucks. Its not as popular as a lot of people think, but yea you can find japanese people that can name off VK artist, but you can also find a lot of japanese people who don't know who the fuck they are. This is mainly due to the fact that music in Japan is constantly changing, and that the variety of music offered is vast. Even the pop music is really diverse. With lots of idols. Point is. VK is happening, but you have a large percentage not aware of it right now. :D
