As a newcommer to both of these songs today (I saw the movie when I was young, but didn't recall the song), I like both Amy's and Fiona's, but I think I prefer Fiona's. Amy's sounds very pretty, but Fiona's has a darker mood. Amy's sounds slightly hopeful, Fiona's sounds completely hopeless, and the later I think is the best way to portray the lyrics.

Meh, it was okay, I guess. The instrumental was pretty neat how they mixed it at the end. But Her voice didn't hold the right sound. She wouldn't be able to replace Catherine. No Cathering O'Hara was not the best singer, which was half the point, the song was written for her. If any cover was better it was Fiona's. Who added her own twist with her voice, and something very dark, which I lovd. But there's no replacement for the original.

Both Amy Lee and Catherine O'Hara did wonders to this song :)

O'Hara---the original Sally---sang the song beautifully, and her high-pitched voice gave Sally a very unique, almost authentic personality. It really portrayed the character's feelings.Plus, how can you ever hate the original anything...?

As for Amy Lee, I think that she did an exceptional job with the song.Her voice having such strong emotion, the somewhat lower key really gave the song a certain depth.
