Does anybody know a German band from around the same era by the name "The MilkyWay" or "Milkyways" or something like that? They made very nice "Tangerine Dreams"-like music. Unfortunately, I don't know any titles, and I haven't been able to find them anywhere?

I really love this album very much ... side two with Meadow of Infinity (Part 1) - The Glass Bridge - Meadow of Infinity (Part 2) has to be one of Peter's most incredible musical arrangements.

Great music. Baumann is in it's own class just like Shulze who also played with Tangerine Dream. Listen to TD's

LePark and Underwater Sunlight or 220 Volts, and what about the Poland concert. Guys, no self respecting artist is ever stagnant, all I say they do deserve a lot of respect. TD, Kraftwerk and others started techno, electro, hip-hop etc.

Just another example of how the music of TD and it's men degraded through the years... After Tangram it was all over for me.

it was over after peter left('77). listen to "cyclone"."force" was a little better. then the 80's,"thief"and"exit"are worth a listen, thats it!

I agree. I like Electronic Meditation and Alphan Century before Peter Bauhmann, but when he left Tangerine Dream Was something else. Cyclone, Force Majure, and Hyperboria are my favorites without peter baumann.

Agreed: I think it was a reviewer in the NME that said that Tangram was Ricochet played backwards! This is music to type up MSS to.

Most New age music is banal and tedious: true healing music should integrate light and dark motiffs - there should be tension-conflict and resolution, the basis actually of all art. no?

too bad he couldnt have continued with his genuine creativity instead of founding that dreadfull greed/money oriented shift of attention Private Music he couldnt have continued along these lines ======== even his POP oriented "Strangers in the Night was better than that Private Music road he wound up taking, only sad for us... He made money , which I guess is what he wanted.....
