Aion is a average game, i remember all the buzz around Warhammer and how after a few months everyone was already tired of it. This game is no different.
Except for the fact that after a year they are still playing it in Korea and in China the game after being out for 3 months still seems to be going strong.
But whatever. You've played endgame so you know how it is....
But thats besides the point....you dont like this game...fine...dont play...wont hurt me or anyone else in game at all. Like wow better...good stay there cause we dont want ya...lol. Personally this game has the right look,feel, and pace for me. And the perfect amount of classes. Too many limits each classes abilities...with the smaller amount, each class is able to hold thier own and doesnt have a glaring weakness. Also this game has more flexibilty with your amour to make up for any weakness
put it this way...I wasnt able to get aion when it came out but to tide me over I went thru some f2p game and some trials...I tried LOTRO...DandD online...and a bunch of nameless to me f2p games including runes of magic...and after a good amount of time of downloading and deleting....the best thing I could find to hold me over was eq1 which is now what...over 10-12 years old...and it still looks and plays better than anything else i tried...but that will end when i get my Aion :-)

personally this game is not that well thought up. nothing is original about this game...its like parts of perfect world, runes of magic, wow, put together. it gets pretty boring at times...and the magic aspect of the game is really subtle.
runes of magic? This was in the making far before then, and of course they didn't do anything original, they just refined it. This game is a pleasant surprise, and from levels 1-13, I'd say it's the best game on the market right now. I'm only level 13.

This is bullshit. Runes of magic has better character graphics? I don't think so. I don't think you understood the concept of Aion. I can't recall any f2p games where there isn't one class that reigns superior, and in Aion the're all pretty damn equal. Runes of Magic DOES NOT have better spell graphics, and no, Aion is absolutely not worse than WoW. Have you played WoW? I'm a three year vet, and I quit for Aion, and I am pleasantly surprised. WoW is down the shitter right now, and Aion is great.
I'm also pretty sure that none of the f2p games gad such a focused storyline, nor did they have balanced classes as I suggested before, an in depth character customization system, the ability to rollover armor stats or abilities, or so many cutscenes. I get the feeling you're just one of those people who want to watch the world burn, so just quit. Half of what you said is debatable, if not able to be taken as false right away. I'm sure half the people here would disagree with you, or anywhere.
So, i've played WoW for over 4 years, FFXI over 2 years, and everquest for 3 years. So if your wondering about my credentials for MMORPG...im sure its there. (im not including all the f2p mmorpg ive tried as well) First of all, Character detail. When running around in Aion...what do you see...practically everyone looking the same. Compared to WoW you see more than just a short guy and tall guy with elven ears or not. There are gnomes, dwarves, humans, night elf etc. Aion...very limited
Secondly. Magic spell detail. Very subtle. no where close to WoW or even RUNES OF MAGIC (yes i said it...a f2p game has better magic details than Aion) Thirdly, storyline focus. Nice they have cut scenes yada yada...once you run through it once..its a waste of time going through it again. why must almost every quest have a cut scene? are they trying to make a movie? probably not...but its different..yes...and will get easily mundane. F2p Games may lack storyline...but its free...wow > aion again

WoW gets mundane about a month after you level cap. then you repeat the same dungeon you did 20 levels ago, and wait a year for the next expansion to come out, only to have the same recycled garbage thrown at you to keep you 'hooked'.

completely correct :P i had 8 lvl 80s then my friend called me over to do some mush, and yes il admit it was my 1st time out all summer, and when u do go out and do something other then wow, it makes u realise how stupid u were bieng, u get to 80 do naxx 3times, ulduar, over and over and over then toc until next patch.....u work so hard to lvl cap ur first time too that when u hit it u rlly do get bummed abt how bad the lvl cap content is, they should of left it at BC

Absolutely true , when i got to level 70 in BC i fealt no sense of accomplishment , it just feels empty when you reach the top level :( if it did'nt i would still be playing WoW and not Aion

I hate WoW and Asheron's Call will always be better for me (search youtube for "asherons call overview video"), but even I agree that this game is probably going to be a gigantic disappointment unless they do something to address the lack of content issue that they are trying to mask with pretty graphics and sparkly animation.
If you make a super mario bros game with decked out graphics and flashy effects... is it really a different game? I personally don't think so.
In case you havent noticed but all top selling games unfortunately are the ones with "pretty graphics" I personally am from the atari era so I dont buy into all that, but the last few years i havent seen much of anything come out that wasnt just graphics, and that includes everything from the loved Bioware. Aion is NOT a WoW killer. Sounds like the 20th if you pre-ordered or something like that. The site said something about a head-start or something like that. The 22nd I believe is the release date for everyone, I guess a public release. Hopefully this helps.

It's hard to compare the two games since WoW has been out for much, much longer. Aion will be good for some people, WoW good for others. Pretty much down to preference and saying one is better than the other won't change peoples views.

I hate WoW and Asheron's Call will always be better for me (search youtube for "asherons call overview video"), but even I agree that this game is probably going to be a gigantic disappointment unless they do something to address the lack of content issue that they are trying to mask with pretty graphics and sparkly animation.
If you make a super mario bros game with decked out graphics and flashy effects... is it really a different game? I personally don't think so.

In case you havent noticed but all top selling games unfortunately are the ones with "pretty graphics" I personally am from the atari era so I dont buy into all that, but the last few years i havent seen much of anything come out that wasnt just graphics, and that includes everything from the loved Bioware. But if you actually played this you would see how much of a story this game has. Heck atleast try games before you bash em. Cause i think this may be the first game I actually buy in a while

Aion is NOT a WoW killer. So far every mmo has tried and failed secondly the only good thing about Aion is that it looks pretty the rest of it is complete horse shit the flying is terrible 30 seconds then like 3 mins to get energy back the high end pve is all tank and spank and lastly when you do anything ur character makes the most stupid noise even for casters

Sounds like the 20th if you pre-ordered or something like that. The site said something about a head-start or something like that. The 22nd I believe is the release date for everyone, I guess a public release. Hopefully this helps.

It's hard to compare the two games since WoW has been out for much, much longer. Aion will be good for some people, WoW good for others. Pretty much down to preference and saying one is better than the other won't change peoples views.
