@MrTkmfarm i have a ps3 and a 360 and just to let you know... you are right. aside from the symmetry of the analogues on the ps3 being nicer, if you play xbox for much more than an hour or 2 the controller design piches a nerve in your hand and can make your hand and part of your arm go numb. happens to me every time. the only thing ps3 needs is a blocker of some sort on the back of the L2 and R2 buttons, sometimes i put the controller down and the buttons accidently get pushed.

@IAMADEUM Lol you shouldn't use the triggers for GT... I've always played GT with both analogue sticks (right one is for throthle), and I always will. The analogue sticks of the ps3 are bigger, and are easier to adjust so much more precise. I've played a lot on xbox as well and i always get the feeling you either turn all the way or not at all. I agree with you on the fact that the 360-controller fits your hand much better, and that the triggers are better; but analogues are what's it all about

scratch that. That was in race mode; I forgot time trial uses S2 tires. So a 40sec run on R3 tires is even worse than I thought. I just tried time trial and could only must a 40.8. I keep getting massive amount of wheel spin when accelerating out of 1st gear. Any tips????

for Formula 1 cars the wheel doesn't turn 900, its about 270. Thats what i dont like, and it makes it just that little bit more difficult. i hope that there will be a setting that for most 900 degree wheels the force feedback can lock itself at 270 or whatever you want it.

You are able to to that on the pc with the logitech driving force gt.....why not on GT5?

not world record coz its not a time trial, he is using R3 tires. Anyway i got close to that in a time trial with N2 or N3 (can't remember) tires which is allowed in time trial with a steering wheel on manual.

Let me tell you its not easy to get a top time on a track like that with a steering wheel.

No, it's actually the car from the 2007 season (Ferrari F2007), so if you really want to play it as realistic as posible, you'll have to use TC.

The more professionel (or practiced) way though, is still to try driving with as little driving aids as possible.

It isnt anymore as far as am aware. When you do a timed trial, everyone runs on the default setting, and the times are listed online (in the game). Your told each lap, where you are, and your best time is updated to the global ranking. I believe its an australian guy whos number one now (atleast, on this track), hes certainly in the 36second range.
