Only thing maplestory is better in would be more people playing. If LaTale had many players or many people heard about this game, it would easily be better than maple. But who am i to say.. its just my opinion since maplestory makes you throw a snail till level 8-10. Also you have to wait till level 70 to do a skill that amazes you. LaTale at like level 3 you can do cool things :P
The open beta was fun. I can safely say that this game is better than maplestory. Its cool how instead of spamming 1 single skill on an ememy, you can use multiple skill combos. Also you can do quest multiple times (up to 3 times) giving you more exp.
I tried La Tale once and, I can safely say that this game is worse than maplestory. It's the same leveling experience as in Maplestory, the economy is the same(You suck if you're not rich). And the graphics are worse IMO.
your right, LaTale is better than maplestory. But im not into MMOs anymore, I found something more importat. Its just hard to get away from the games.
Maplestory was the first side-scrolling mmorpg, so every other game in the same genre wil look like a clone (side-scrolling) , buth maplestory has copies ALLOT of stuff from Ghost online and other games, its called ''UPDATES'', maplestory looks at other games and takes stuff, they might be the first sidescrolling, stil they keep updating, like they got the pet system and the boss quest from other games :)
If played open beta with a smile, as far was what if seen , its a verry good game, the exp rate is vast, and the party exp is double, so that means u lv faster in a party than alone, thats kinda cool, cause for that reason most people form party's cause its faster, and that way u meet new friends, unlike maplestory where everwone calles u a noob when ur low lv, i played maplestory , got a lv 108 cb, buth im done with it, latale opens a new book for me

Latale is better fighting and exp wise.

pet system and boss is something that just obviously belongs to kinda every game. that doesn't mean the "stole" the idea on purpose.

Some other Side Scroling games had those systems first, considers maple 'stole' the idea

Well maybe they did, but making something very original is kinda hard these days. and as long as the idea has some own variation i'm fine with it :)
